How did you fall in love with your favorite LH character ?

Motoko. I saw her and fell in love. Would that descrive my love I feel towards her enough, if I'd say I'd like to marry her. Just simply have her as my own girl.

Damn. Human languages are not enough to descrive such things as so undepleteable love that I feel to Motoko. I can't take it anymore!

AHEM! Anyway... *Puts the silly hat away* I just love Motoko so much, that If I would write it with my native language... not even that would be enough. My friends tell me: "Why to love a piece of paper, you idiot?!"....

For me Motoko just isn't only a piece of paper. She is thought, a unexisting soul of beauty and so near to perfection, that she almost couldn't exist... Which makes me quite sad and unworthy for my name.

Well... good that there is dreams. I would be damned to eternal pain without Motoko.

Shinobu became my favorite character because of her unselfishness, and how she thinks about others. She is such a good friend to the others.

If she were my little sister, I'd be her overprotective older brother - mess with her, and ya mess with me. LART-KUU-ZEN!

Naru's just one of those people that I often catch myself wishing was really alive, and just hanging around all the time. That just happens with me and characters every now and then. Plus, she looks bloomin amazing, in the manga moreso.

*ressurect* This is a really cool thread and I don´t know why it died....

I have always liked Motoko,from the first time I saw her in the anime in her first episode.
After I had seen the anime I was torn between Shinobu and Motoko.
I tried to choose and leaned towards Shinobu several times,but each time pictures of Motoko would show in my head,her face and hair,the way she behaved,how Kawaii she was in episode 12,how sad episode 17 was,how sad episode 08 was,how amazing ep 25 was (how sad and empty I felt when she cried for the first time ( :bawl: ), how hot she could make me feel (yes,really) and how I love her beautiful smile and that amazing black hair ( :love: ).
And as I tried to choose,I could never really choose one.I always came back to Motoko again because I couldn´t bare having her not being loved,I would feel that I was betraying her,leaving her behind.

Still indecisive I decided to buy the two first manga books.At first I started feeling really strongly towards Shinobu again, especially after having read "Don´t cry Shinobu" ( :bawl: )
But then I came to the Motoko chapter and I was torn again.These two volumes do portray a lot of shinobu and not too much Motoko,but I was still torn.
After a little while I had vols 1-8 on my comp and read through them pretty fast,and yet again I was torn. This time between "Kiss me Sempai" and "Blooming Innocence´s retreat to a mountain!?".
I had issues........

Then I got a hold of vol 9 and.......I think that is where I started to favor Motoko.
Even as the vol had alot of great shinobu as well. "Shinobus B-line to Tokyo U" and "I wanna grow up." was great,but I had really warmed up during "Burn Up Blade part I-III",I think was the first time during the manga I grew misty eyed.:sad:

After a while I got 11-14 and as I read the last part of 12 and first of 13 I was totally engrossed by her. I read the very first chapter of vol 13 and once again grew misty eyed,and then I read the two next and for the first time an actual tear fell :sad:.

Each time I read or watch LH I fall even more in love with Motoko,each time I read or watch LH I grow sadder and more teary-eyed,each time I read or watch LH I grow fonder of Motoko. I find myself falling more and more in love with her each time I write something in my story.I find myself wanting to be the one hugging her,feeling her,touching her and perchance kissing her.To smell her hair,to hear her voice,to see her smile only for me,to taste her lips.......
The only place I can do these things is in my dreams........

Great,now I am sad and on the werge of tears.......I hope someone appreciated my confession.......

Hard to say really, i was a huge fan of Motoko, then i read the manga and i totally fell for Mutsumi. Beside the fact that the person who drew her made awesome curves, it's probably the fact that she's a bit older, takes care of the people around her and that she's not violent

innocent, can cook, and is the only one who did not hit Keitaro or try to hit cook or scold the tama Turtle basically she is the one who sets everyone straight using her innocence and cuteness to do it....though not saying I would want to date a 14 year old I do like those type of qualities

THough I did mention I like SHinobu and my Sig is about her she would not be where she is without the help of the whole love HIna cast of characters so therefore I like Everyone in the anime (I have not read the books because I just dont like the books I prefer animation

Were you captured by her hairstyle as she was stalking Naru.
Or was it the Kawaiiness she showes when she talks to Keitaro about Naru coming back home?
