Mao Chan + Love Hina = look into the future?
forgive me if this has been done before, as the search says "mao" is too short a word to find and nets me every post with "chan" in it. anyway, also a good time for me to learn how to use the spoiler tag. not a whole lot revealed, but i did it incase anyone felt like picking it up to watch(all 11 minutes of it)
recently finished up the series Mao chan (earth defender mao chan). an episode toward the end included a trip for Mao and her friends to a "hot spring resort" in which the springs "help people get into Tokyo U".

anyone else see it? old news and i should get beat for posting? new news and people are running out to buy/download mao chan?

Well there were also pseudo Love Hina cameos in the Mao-chan manga made by Ran.
With name changes Keinosuke = Keitaro, only suicidal todai flunky. Nanasegawa = Naru, Motoka = Motoko. Kitsune also showed up in Vol 1. Mind you same premise but different storyline like Negima manga and Negima?! anime. Well it is emphasized that it is the year 20XX in the pic diaries. Sylvie's seiyuu Yui Horie makes a joke as if she was there in a previous life in Mao-chan episode 20. Fact is she was Naru previously. Now she plays the voice Makie Sasaki in Negima! and Negima?! animes. Which shows the wide range she can do.

#20 is the episode, and the preview at the end of 19 is like "we go to the hinata lodge for a hot springs vacation" and then you get naru going "i'm the landlady, i can't tell you my name"

It is only today I learned about "Ground Defense Force! Mao-chan". Thanks to Keitaro004.
I watched the opening on YouTube. Sailor Moon meets Captain Jack! You can guess twice who is my favourite character based on what I saw. Kick Ass Anime... ROFL.

There were also pictures of the Mao-chan characters in the Japanese 'Love Hina - Box Set'. Maybe there are pictures in the Mao-chan DVD-box too... Hmm...
Btw, here are 3 of the Love Hina cameos in that show: - They were visiting 'Hinata Inn' in episode 20. - Naru and Keitaro guest-appeared in episode 24, on the TV show Mao was watching. Naru punched Keitaro in the sky, and Mao laughted. - Tama-chan, appears in episode 5 of the series and is named Tama-chan. The only difference being that it is larger in size. Thats the Cameos I've found, after watching a few episodes. Maybe there are more?
