You're talking about the Manga ending?
...well, the Anime of COURSE needed more... Maybe like an ending movie... But it never did, and never will happen. T__T But... I think the Manga ended just fine. Granted, I would LOVE to see a little series to show what happens afterwards... But everything is completely wrapped up, it's a happy ending (even in Retrograde! ) and it's complete.I think to add anything more might actually ruin the ending... |

Actually, there is an episode 4 of Love Hina Again, in the form of a song, on the soundtrack. It begins right where episode 3 ends, and goes up till around the train scene in volume 14 of the manga. I know somewhere around there is an English translation. I'll see if I can find a link.

Try this link. It contains the English translation of what happens "afterwards."

I like both endings. The anime's ending is okay so long as you separate it from the source material. The identity of the promised girl becomes kind of a redundant mystery after Keitaro makes it clear that Naru is the one he wants to be with. Does it really matter who she is? Plus, the manga wasn't finished when the LH anime was made. For it to have been a complete story the writers and animators would have needed a time machine (or the common sense to wait for the story to END before they adapated it...).
For what it is, I think the anime's ending is fine, though the manga will always be better. ![]() |
