Kentaro?

In the anime version we are introduced to Kentaro, who is basically a 'perfected' version of Keitaro.
What did you think of him?
Whats your opinion of him?
Did you feel sorry for him that he basically lost all his money?

I think he evolved into a good guy - a rough sorta friend for Keitaro, I mean, he wasnt exactly suportive, but he knew what to do, etc.
I liked him, tbh, and wish he was in the manga a bit.

Well, he's a pretty cool guy and is one of the people who makes the show more funny. I like him a bit, because he helps Keitaro sometimes.

No. He deserved it. He was the one who drank 'sake' for all the money he earned on the Hinata beach-house. He was the one who made false rumors about Naru on TV. He tried to steal Naru from Keitaro, but failed. And he kisses every girl he sees, just to say Hello. He has done many stupid things, so he isn't perfect in my opinion.

But still, he's one of my favorite characters (Somewhere between 2nd or 3rd on my list, because Keitaro is the funniest!)

Like almost all Geneon creations, he was a pointless waste of time, and made the episodes he was involved in a lot worse. I got annoyed every time he showed up, and I don't remember anything funny involving him whatsoever.

i didnt really like him to from the begining of the anime but when he lost his money andstarted to work for haruka i sort of liked him.

Anyway, the last shot of him (in the credits of the last episode) I thought really sums up his character, he's looking up (towards his future) and smiling (he's happy). In other words I think that he was a bad person at first, but now, as he's getting to work for Haruka and, in turn, getting to know the others (he helped out Su, didnt he, by being in that costume?) he will be accepted more by that group.

To be honest, Kentaro was a bad execution of introducing a foil character. He could have easily made the LH anime more interesting if the rivalry was spread through more episodes. His sudden departure made say "what was the point of that?".

Kentaro had potential but he simply became a footnote character like many others in the series.

I like him too. In fact he is one of my favorite characters, but I think his role in the anime ended too soon.

I loved him near the end, found myself laughing alot when he appeared. I love the way he was paid so little for working in the tea house XD

He was funny, but reeeally annoying, especially in the episode he appeared in.
He is not a "perfected" Keitaro, because in NO WAY is he perfect.
