Welcome to MB Project: Unlimited

Some of you have noticed perhaps that Rei and Myself were battling awhile ago, but now we've turned it into much more. Planned to be bigger then the Ouran Rp, we would like to start a story-lined Mecha RP.

Some of you may perhaps be worried that the RP will be something your unaccustomed too or not really your type. Well that's where you are wrong, We found a way to allow everyone to have pretty much any mech they want as long as we can keep the fighting balanced. In a way's we could some it up like this

That's right!! Action, Drama, Romance, Bar Fights!! We want you to do more then just battle your away across the Galaxy!! We want you to be able to step outside of your mech and interact with the world to show us WHAT YOU DO when your not busy with a mission and adding story to your personal chars.

Original chars are encouraged along with mechs, but you can also use mechs that have appeared elsewhere!! MEET CANON CHARS as played by the us who do our best to try and bring life and actual characterization to you!! Get involved with different factions from the U.N. , ORB , ZAFT , or Even an ALIEN INVADER!!!

Trust me when I say that this is something you don't wanna miss!

Excellent work. Youre a credit to this brigade. Depending on the results, youll get a promotion to Commander if this goes off well. (Although knowing me, youll get that promotion anyways for this.)

Alright then. At the moment, we are about to undertake a practice battle to revive interest in Mech RPing. So afterwards, the question I want to ask is: Do we continue the Mecha Brigade Unlimited RP, or do we start a whole new RP? We're just going to get the opinions for now, and see how things go after the practice RP finishes.

I've said it already, but for everyone else, I personally think we should start a new RP.
The MBU RP was good for our first big RP but it was a bit unorganized from what I could tell.
We can still use the MBU as a good example of how we should have our RPs though.
If we can create a new one I'm sure we'll do a better job than the MBU.

Now, based on Rping standards and focus. There is a way we could approach this.

I suggest, we write off the first MBU as Phase: 1. That's right...all of that was a basic anime episode for our MB Glory. And begin Phase: 2 (new rp) Now why is that? The answer is simple. This gives us somewhat of a 'fresh start' by leaving a small gap in the somewhat stale storyline as things have gotten so far.

Not only that, we can reinvest in what we originally set out to do in by which I mean 'conforming' this rp to 'our' needs. So Allow us to end Phase 1 Successfully, and begin Phase 2. And hey, this just means we're doing things bigger and better then before :3

Well put Balmung. Then are we thinking of a time skip?

Indeed we are. Too put it simply, we were sort of going around in circles at the end of Phase: 1.

Now with our Phase: 2 shift, we'll be able to make a slight time difference and move ourselves to more 'exciting' locations.

I have some ideas for that. Perhaps have some members actually lead an organization against other RPers (with Rpers who join that side of course. *Hint* Char's Neo Zeon *Hint*

Which brings me to my next point. I noticed that, though I stressed last rp that we would perhaps like to do a little more then battles. I would like to center some guidelines for this next rp. This will also allow us to KNOW what we're doing and not have to get lost in the middle of the rp.

Now here are the few things I'm considering rather strongly at the moment.

1) At least have 3 Major Battles this time, each spaced somewhat to give us some time do 'light rp' our way into the battle.

2) Bring in the 'Canon' Chars, Unlike last rp...We shall now be relying slightly more on the Canon Chars to help move us along. Not as to say they shall be taking the spotlight, but we're going to use them for our own excitement.

3) Now this is the important part, Gradually and I mean very Gradually, we shall start introducing Super Mechs into the rp. Now, I don't mean "All of a Sudden, MUSHA GUNDAM appears and destroys us all!!" Nay. I mean we start off small, as in one Gundam or something appears, and we roll with it awhile until everyone's side begins to think about technological advances and we move forward slowly with them.

At this time, All I would consider as the 'definition' for Super Mech in the rp at the time being...would be Amuro's Gundam should he appear during Char's appearence.

Sounds good to me really. But we must make sure we can focus on our character development, and stick to it this time. Fleshing out dialogues in particular should be a priority.

Indeed, that has always been one of our guidelines from Day 1.

Note: We're not asking for you to start pulling Gundam Technical Drawings and go word for word that this is the "MX-298 F3 blah blah blah" But Character Deph is appreciated.

Speaking of which, as I shall revoice my thoughts on Guideline 1. Though I've realized that battles do help the rp become somewhat more exciting, we still rely on our characters and such. These battles are just another means for you let yourselves shine throughout the rp.

With that thought in mind, do you have another places of interest to take us battle-wise Duo?

Am I allowed to be Clan Jade Falcon character Galaxy-Commander Malvina Hazen from BattleTech/MechWarrior?

How about a Clan Jade Falcon incusion? Malvina is one psycho woman and well lets just say she is a firm beleiver in the 'total war' philosophy and she spares no one. Attractive but psycho which is why I like her.
