I will be posting info on MGS weapons for today i shall start you off with some MGS3 weapons.
Fork

The ultimate weapon. Snake can use a fork in Metal Gear Solid 3 to kill his enemies with ease. The fork can be used in conjunction with the CQC Knife to perform CQC techniques on the enemy. Using the fork to attack an enemy is identical to using a knife - stabbing, however, will not kill an enemy outright. When Snake kills an animal with a fork, he will automatically eat it. This does not work on dogs or humans, of course.

The fork dates back to the Romans, who used it for serving food. It was first introduced in the Middle East before 1000 AD, and began spreading from there to Europe in the 11th century. It did not spread past Italy until the 18th century, however, as it was seen as a strange foreign custom of the Italians. The fork is used worldwide today as an eating utensil and rarely as a weapon. A type of weapon based on the fork is the pitchfork - but that is rarely ever used for attacking people or animals and is more used for chores on farms. A modern development is the combination of a spoon and fork into what has been dubbed the Spork.

Say, I'd like to know about MGS1's FA-MAS. It's a French badass, isn't it?

FAMAS
A fan-favorite. FAMAS stands for Fusil d'Assaut de la Manufacture d'Armes de St-Etienne, but you won't need to remember that. It is the weapon of choice used by the French Military. It is an extremely important weapon in the original Metal Gear Solid, being the only fully-automatic assault rifle available. Its magazine capacity is 30 5.56 × 45 mm rounds (the last three rounds being tracer bullets) and it packs enough firepower to get Snake through any confrontations with guards. Snake's FAMAS cannot be equipped with a suppressor, so it is advisable to only use it in situations that require lots of firepower.


It was developed from 1967 to 1971, started production in 1975, but was not adopted by the French military for widespread use until 1978. It is manufactured by the French government-owned GIAT Industries. It replaced the former standard-issue French rifle, the MAS-49. The FAMAS rifle is a bullpup assault rifle, giving it good range and accuracy, and the design of the rifle is such that it can be used equally well by left-handed and right-handed users.

C-Box
The most iconic staple of the metal gear series, better known than Metal Gear itself, the box, is not only the perfect camouflage for a variety of environments. It's only known weakness is rain.
The history of the box is obscured in mystery, though it's origins in MGS are thanks to the scientists of the soviet union and their fine work on this timeless design, first encountered by Naked snake.

It's exact technical specs are unknown , but it can be assumed to be around 50 -70 cm along each edge and possibly constructed from some sort of new experimental alloy using card. Recently it has been under threat by the barrel, impervious to rain, unmarked to arouse less suspicion when an oranges box appears in the prison cell, and can be used to attack as a rolling obstacle.

C-Box
