lol Fun with Akatsuki is great as always , love it XD. Anywho Relax, they have to rings to prove who they are and their membership/status in the organization. and since the rings are one of a kind they can tell if there are any imposters, because they wont have the rings

well another reason is because those rings are special as they can use chakra to comunicate with each other no matter where they are like the time where they Hidan and Kakuzu was asked to retreat to seal the three tail. All of them gathered in a dark room through their ring teoratically

Well he doesnt sound Weird but we havent even heard his true motives yet. We know the purpose of Akatsuki but not he's . he sounds scary in Shippuden tho..a really deep voice he has
