Manga; is asuna going to die ?
Well, in the anime, asuna died on her 16th birthday. 0000 hours october.

now come to think of it, its august now in the manga series, if they were to come back to the real world in time in one month for the new semester, it would be end of september at most.

However, with the chinese person from the future gone, and the time machine was destroyed, i wonder if this episode will ever done in the manga....hmm.

The anime story is a lot different from the manga... the anime was just to bring it to a close and not canon as part of the manga story...

Akamatsu wouldnt kill anyone off in the proper story

I'm assuming no, cuz the anime is alwasy the lesser version of the manga. If someone was suppose to die it would be more dramatic and in dire situation. The people as top candidates to die would most likely be Yue, Chisame, Setsuna, Kaede, or Ku fei in my opinion. Yue and chisame would give insight to negi before the final battle before they die or the other 3 would protect negi and then die. The end would be negi going all kickass mode with their deaths to bring out his potential.
