I have never heard of this until I signed up for anime B. Could you guys fill me in? Is it an anime? If so, I would like to know if it's currently on air.

Ohh... Negima.
I didnt think of looking at what forum this was in. ^_^;;; This is the Brigade to Mahou Sensei Negima. Or, Magic Teacher Negima. It's Akamatsu-sensei's third series. (First was AI no Tomaranai (AI Love You), second is Love Hina, and the third is Mahou Sensei Negima (Magister Negi Magi)) It is an anime and a manga. (Though the manga is better. The anime kinda went a far different path) It's not on air in the US... nor have DVDs been published here... But we do get the translated manga from Del Ray. It is still being run in a manga magazine in Japan. =Þ Great series. Get ahold of it if at all possible! ^_^

The storyline...
To put it most simply: Love Hina + Harry Potter = Negima ...seriously. But dont let that make you think that the series isnt any good... Basically... Negi Springfeild graduates from his Magic Academy. He aims to become a Magister (Basically, a powerful Mage). But, for some reason or another... (Forget exactly why...) To do so, he must first go to Japan and teach English. So, he becomes the (Ten year old) teacher of class 3-A of Mahora Academy. (An all girls school... He's teaching a class of 31 students. XD) There's some romance... But alot of Action. Much more than I had ever expected from Akamatsu... (We saw a hint of it towards the end of LH... But never quite like this.) Lots of Magic. Really cool. ^__^ So, if you like Harry Potter... Like Love Hina... Enjoy series like Naruto, or such... Negima is definately a MUST READ. =Þ
