First Time Watchin Negima

well i have to say im enjoyin the series of Negima and i cant believe how much similiar some of the characters of Negima are to Love Hina. ive only seen a couple episodes so i really dont know the characters all that well or the plot, but im a lil curious if there is any other series of Negima that goes back to Negi's past in Wales at Mahora academy, or even Nagi's past before Negi was born?

yay for the anime!!! you should check out the manga if you want background info though. the anime pretty much leaves you in the dark... which, and you may remember if you were here when i first joined and had the sig about the anti-xebec club, is why xebec must die for screwing up akamatsu's mangas.

well i gotta say that it took me long enough to order and read the manga books, unfortunately i bought them from Del Ray and they only have up to Vol 11 i think, i got 1-8 the other day, 9 is on the way, i wont get 10 until its released later this month, and i wont get 11 until sometime in May or June, sucks but oh well.

I cant believe it though i got so into the manga that i stayed up for 28 hours reading the book, i have to say that the best Vol to me is 4-6 when the class goes to Kyoto, i couldnt stop reading it, it was freakin awesome, reminds me alot of Love Hina. It weird when you see the different characters from Class 3-a you cant help but see the characters from Love Hina and some divided up into different ppl. Its kinda exciting. man i cant wait for Vol 9 and so forth, im glad that i read the manga before i saw all the anime, unlike Love Hina.

uhhh..... might wanna download the mangas too... lets just say del rey kinda gets stupid in its translations... well, not horrible, but the IQ of the characters goes down by like... 50 ;P

then again, to each his own, and I don't prefer characters saying outdated slang and random acronyms
