Umm... even if this is the "spoiler" thread, do I still need to use spoiler tags if I talk about the chapters that haven't been translated by aquastar yet?
 Cause [AQS] fell three chapters behind, and 149... just... ZOMG... Anyone else who read it knows exactly what I'm talking about...

was recently redirected here since the old forum i used to discuss negima on is some what dead, and i wanted to open up with my thoughts on the future of this manga. posibly spoiling?
first things first compared to the manga love hina's story and such were the same just the order or the how events happened were modified in such a manner to facilitate a 26 episode series, even though they made more eps after the fact specieals and such. well my thoughts is that anime followed the manga to a degree but super condenced perhaps, if thats the case several things can be assumed negi will eventually have a pact with almost every girl in his class. but further more asuna will die, and negi might use chao's time machine to save her, but in the anime perhaps i had a poor translation of the last episode but, they didnt specifically say what that device was they built nor what exactly they did to nullify the contract asuna had with the demon, which makes me think pactio are provisional contracts no? aka temporary since (i assume perminant are more like marrages or somethin) negi is too young, but in the anime on top of that device both negi and asuna were standing in pactio circles, further more now that we have seen the festival arc know what the world tree's powers are they also held the cerimony out infront of the world tree and it glowed as they completed the ritual or what have you to break asuna's contract. but see my point? me thinks the girl for negi in the end will be asuna. anyways i feel this series is far from over although waiting for each new chapter to come out feels like an eternity i dont want it to end soon too many loose ends, like who the white haired boy is, will takahata sensei tell asuna about her past, what was her specific relation to the thousand masters group? perhaps the same as in the anime? what happened to takahata sensei's master specifically, what is that dragon guarding, what is chao's relation to negi (and by who) what disaster was chao trying to prevent, will she be able to suceed in preventing it without the mages being exposed in the end? and colnel sanderws (forgot his real name) will negi and the gang be able to find him? finnaly will negi ever find his dad and who will he fall in love with in the end? so anyways sorry for such a wordy post as basicaly my intro duction to this forums, hello im a negima fan nice to meet you. im also a very big fan of alot of clamp's works atm following tusbasa resivior chronicles and xxx holic. am aguy irl just due to several reasons my MMO tags have always been nala.

Its quite obivous this manga is not ending for a while. The anime was created to simply appeal to fans. Animes based on-going mangas dont usually follow exactly, or go off on their own. Look at Bleach and Naruto. Who knows what the next arc in the negima manga will be about.

hmm maybe so but in bleach and naruto's case the animators caught up to where the artist had made content for, but as far as love hina was concerned it was more like they condenced what akamatsu had wrtien into a 26 episode format, im just making the conjecture what if its not too dissimilar for negima? considering the amount of detail of notes ive seen in the omake's for love ina and negima, id say that akamatsu had the stories fairly planned in advanced, that being said perhaps there is something to the anime perhaps its just random jibberish they made for an ending, i thought it would be fun to put out.

im sure akamatsu has this well planned out. But even still, with a weekly serial like the one at the moment, we have quite a time to wait while all of his chapters come out. I mentioned Bleach and Naruto, mainly because of the extra arcs that appeared in the animes only.

I'm fairly certain Ken said somewhere that he already has the basic storyline planned out. He just changes it where he feels like... like Makie becoming a somewhat major character just because she won the first popularity contest
 and how the pairings for the tournament matches were randomized (though the final fight was pre-determined, obviously).

Oh, considering the recent chapter, where Makie and Ayaka are transported into a water dimension along with Chisame, because of her artifact; they might not be out of the loop much longer.

Looks like Ayaka and Makie are the next to find out about Negi's secret...
But since we already saw their reactions in vol 15, it would be no surprise to us what they'd do... My theory on Chao: If you remember from vol 15, Chao said she wanted to change the past. So maybe she planned to reveal magic to the world because somehow she knew what Negi would do involving the third day of the festival. Maybe the orginally planned "Hide and seek" became hectic, or whatever. So she went to the past to change the third day of the festival, and not to reveal magic... Although I would imagine everyone's reaction if that really is what she planned. It would be like "WTF OMG Why the hell did you do that!?".. Or something similar..

Chao's an evil HaXX0r bitch. that thing with Takamichi & Co. was just evil. She's third on my "top hated Negima Character" list until this arc is over (one and two is currently a draw between Shiina and Kakizaki because they're joined at the hip and have done absolutely nothing).
