My only disappointment about Ch. 214 was not finding out what happen to Anya, Haruna, and Chamo, and why Takamichi and Mana were on the magic world. Ken should have given us some knowledge why Mana and Takamichi were doing on the Magic World by focusing on three pages. Apparentily, there is more going on in the Magic World arc. Ken will still have to introduced the Mystery Member.
The Mystery Member will likely work with Takamichi, Donna, and the authorities. Takamichi's main goal is to figure whom Fate and his team are working for. Takamichi will need a favor from another friend to go to Ostia before Donnet, Mana, and he can go. Takamichi is aware that Negi is training with Jack. Asuna is beginning to regain some of her lost memories. Negi was scouting the area by himself. Of which is very odd and suspicious. Asuna and Negi's reunion was a little humorous. Since Negima will run until 300++ chapters I'm still not anxious about Haruna and Anya will be featured. But if it's Chapter 275, that will be a different story.

well as was said we expect 350 chapters due to ken akamatsu saying he was about halfway through at about #175

hmm an idea sure but
he says it was a coincidence later on he kills the gates... it seems to me more as if they were going to destroy the gates and negi and co. show up so fate decides to take advantage and attack!

^ Oh, well, I can't wait for the next chapter. I loved it how Ken Akamatsu has been putting cliffhangers at the end of many of his novels' chapter since his latter part of Love Hina novel.
I love cliffhangers in the story, lolz!

Actually, cliffhangers is one way of making readers 'subscribe' to your story more. I'm a small time novelist and I always use this tactic at the end of almost every chapter to instill excitement to the readers especially on what will happen on the next chapter.
But I can also agree with you...I also hate waiting. Two weeks is kinda...long.

^ According to the scans, he'll gather data for the story. Hmmm, I would give that reasoning a 'chance' since I'm also a writer I usually do the same sometimes (though having an internet connect is more handy for me so I can't prevent on missing a chapter for an extended period of time) to spice up my article/s. I also don't like waiting but, sometimes it can't be helped.
