on a side note have you noticed that on chapter 218 the two hole on asunas sword are now placed on the body of the sword or the main blade, the holes were once located on the blade beside the handle, with the wholes placed in the middle it kinda reminds me of final fantasy vii cloud strifes buster sword, you know the holes is were the materia is inserted.
on another side note for those who didn't attend Anime Expo, Friday night, the 2008 SPJA Awards were announced at the Wachovia VIP Lounge at the Nokia Theatre. For fans of Negima, be happy to know that the manga won the award for Best Manga - Comedy.

So far, I assumed that the Manga is popular in America. The series seem to start out as a parody of Harry Potter. It turn out to be an unique series from the start. Ken had hope that the series will not be consider to be another Harry Potter.

If Ken had avoided the fanservice, and focus on having a Co-Ed class, Negima will likely be popular on the same level as Naruto. Unfortunately if Negima was popular like Naruto, his fans will be limited to younger fanbase.

If Negi and Naruto had gotten into a sanctionified fight like the Mahora Marital Arts tournament, Negi will defeat Naruto within a few minutes.
