Curiosity
 You have entered in this thread!! That may mean you are curious.  Anyway, let's go to what matters. When I saw that pic, I automatically smiled. But I think it is easier to see some conclusions. Have any of you noticed all of Baka-rangers' members are on the bottom of the pic forming a perfect line? Supicious, ne?

I bet he did up the class roster first, then he decided that the five girls and the bottom would be the Baka Rangers.
Here in Singapore our manga is translated by a local company. And in Singapore, we use the term 'class register'.

Oh! That's wierd. Here in the U.S. register is a "cash register" and the verb register. That's it. Funny how countries translate other countries' words
I wouldn't doubt the roster being made first and then he chose the five below randomly. In the Extras of Volume 10 in Del Rey Manga, they told us that Ken made the tournament roster by rolling die! Each competitor had a number and whichever number Ken and someone else would roll, those two competitors would face each other, unless it was two minor characters fighting each other then there'd be a re-roll. That's kinda interesting after seeing how these fights have turned out.
