At least her hair isn't the way that the concept sketches showed her as. That style looked almost like dreds or something. And I understand that it's hard to draw 31 distinct girls, and hair is one of the easiest ways to create different looks. Just take Asuna. She looks a lot different when she wears her hair down.

To Pai: In the "Negima!" manga, the mighty morphing Baka Rangers is the after-school tutoring group taught by Negi Springfield since vol. I, 4th period. The members had been picked up by Mr. Takamichi Takahata, based on their exceptionally low pop quiz results. It remains unclear to me, exactly who and when came up with the group name and the color code-names of the members - certainly it was not Asuna. All these names are first presented on page 130 of vol. I, as Negi takes over the group:

Yue Ayase: Baka Black
Asuna Kagurazaka: Baka Red
Ku Fei: Baka Yellow
Makie Sasaki: Baka Pink
Kaede Nagase: Baka Blue.

During the Library Island investigation campaign (vol. II, 7th to 11th period), Konoka Konoe, Nodoka Miyazaki and Haruna Saotome were associated with The Baka Rangers, acting as their technical support out of friendship. They were not in need of tutoring classes, though.

My choice in the poll is, without a doubt, Ku Fei (yo Hinarei!). Yue is not just the cutest of the girls, she is simply the most lovable, but Ku is the hottest. I think I realized this the moment I saw the cosplay picture of Kaede and Ku, featured as the title page of the 9th period (vol. II, page 44). ("Kataja, you pervert!!" "Who, me? What about Akamatsu-san?")
