I have to agree though, that the opening song IS good, probably the only thing that doesnt make me want to throw myself off a VERY high cliff.

tbh i don't care whats it about, it was done wrong from a fan's point of view. Mahora looks terrible, the acting was just poor ...the list goes on. Even if someone does sub it, i doubt its getting any good reception

What's wrong with you all, this sounded like a tremendously terrible idea from the first time I heard it. The biggest disappointment was the thought this joke might take time away from the quality projects, because when it comes to live action, it's always the big companies being in charge of it and more than likely don't understand the manga, let alone what fans want. So GG NO RE

yeah, that pretty much sums up the situation

unfortunately for Ken Akamatsu, this cannot be done as a live action, no matter how much we want it to come out good (that is, until technology gets so advanced you can even make a 3 month old into a superhero using some toothpicks, a rubber band, and a super computer) -_-;;

The whole goal of this thing was to get teens into school outfits.

They succeeded.

for the the dungeon like school. most schools in china looks like that on the inside, just with more light, so we can assume that it's the same in japan

Oh dear god. That was sooo bad it's unbelievable.

See this is why I didn't get my hopes up. The acting was bad, the script was abysmal, and it just generally wan't a good watch. Boo.

Okay I just saw it.... and it was not as bad as I would have imagined, after seeing everyone here bash it like that.

I was especially impressed with Asuna's actress, who is actually very cute and looks better in movement compared to her pictures.

I also noticed that they made most of the cast more or less similar in aspect to their manga/anime counterparts. In fact, most of the girls look just like I have been imagining them for real life, especially Asuna, Nodoka and Iinchou.

I can't say much for the acting, though.... the worst scenes were Negi's reply after Asuna grabs him in class; and the Nodoka scene, because Nodoka's actress was definitely the worst of all.

However, the fight between Asuna and Iinchou was just hilarious, and the potion scene was memorable.

That is the reason why I give Episode 1 of Live Action Negima a 4 out of 10.

Now, when will Episode 2 be out?
