On Tony Taka

You guys mention Tony Taka (or Taka Tony) of T2 every now and then. He seems to have quite a cult following, being hailed by Danny Choo among many others, but has not made it to the English Wikipedia yet. I have failed to find a clear and reliable-ish summary of his works and life to date.

Today, arranging my Maid in the NBB downloads, I found some Shinshou Genmukan (other sources: Shinsho-Genmukan etc.) material on Minitokyo. Heck, that maid had appeared in the NBB earlier!

What is more interesting, browsing Tony Taka pics further led me to discover Sora no Iro, Mizu no Iro. I was immediately like, is that game the origin of Miroku's epic down-with-the-pantsu post?

What do you think?

I've known of Sora no Iro.. for a long while now, but I've never seen anything around imageboards other than the fabled down-with-the-pantsu piccie

It's definitely the origin of that piccie. Quite unmistakably

Think I was planning or indeed did post some Taka pics in here at some point. I'm prepared to swear there was a thread or post full of his art here somewhere.

Is it any wonder we mention him? His works are stunning o_O Much like Yuji Kobayashi, he's established a small army of fans over the years. His output doesn't appear to be as prolific as it once was, but maybe that's just me not noticing his new works enough, I don't know

Happier, definitely I can't get the full size stock scans from minitokyo, cos I don't have the credits, and I've not logged in there in a long long time. But the smaller res ones are more than adequate

And yes, Miroku... even the Pharoahs themselves could get a rise out of that He does excellent work Such clean lines and everything Not found too many of his doujins, actually... think I may have one or two

Well, 1000 x 1500 pixels is more than with most of the images I have saved from the NBB shares.

What about this other chap, Kobayashi-san? Would he deserve a thread of his own?

1000x1500 is hi-res, but not absurdres Can't manage those

Kobayashi may not deserve a thread of his own... tell you what, once I get home I'll post some piccies from him, 'kay? If people realise they've seen stuff from 'im before, then maybe he does deserve a thread of 'is own

Perhaps to some he's not worthy of the attention Taka-sama is

edit: turns out I'd posted a cache of Yuji piccies around a year ago All of them are aged out of 2ko now, so I'll ned to re-up them and repost them Will get onto that and get back to you tomorrow
