I'm completely against smoking, but I did take a drag once. I was drunk off my face, saw my friend with a rolly, assumed it was something else, and grabbed it off him. He was very shocked. ^^;

I never liked smoking, and I don't want to ever try it. My dad smokes and won't stop. One cause of my uncle's death was how much he smoked *sighs*

nope, never even put the thing in my mouth or think about it. Its the one thing I've swore to never try. Why kill yourself y'know...not to mention the horrible breath and coughing etc.

Guys, I think secondhand smoke should be considered the same as actually having the lit cigarette/cigar/pipe in your mouth and inhaling because of the damage it does .


I've never had the inclination to try. Lost too many members of both my branches of the Family Tree to smoking-related illnesses to want to dwell on. My grandmother smoked for years, and died of the big C when I was just 13. Her sister died years later from complications with Emphysema.

Those are just two examples. Now, me and my brother have to be careful, because our lungs are especially vulnerable because of a shared genetic deficiency we both have.... though it is affecting us differently. because of this deficiency, the statistics of either of us getting Emphysema or Cirrhosis of the Liver skyrocket to 85% before we even hit 40. No small wonder then, that he has the start of the Emphysema, and I have...... a while to go otherwise where my health is concerned .

Anyways, I haven't. Have no intrest, but more power to the people who do smoke. They help pave my roads and educate my future children (through tax revenue). In the United States, it's still a free country and smoking is not illegal. But it's not like I would do it. I don't want my mouth tasting like an ash tray.

I've touched the stuff... mainly to destroy the cigarettes and irritate the hell out of an uncle who smokes I still don't regret that decision

I have obviously been in pubs and clubs where smoking was happening... now though, there's been a smoking ban in any enclosed public space Not gone down all that well ><

I'm not a miitant anti-smoker like some I know. it's people's own choice on this sort of thing.
