Alien Life? Does it exist?

Ill tell you right now.Thisisnt reallylooking for very log extended logical explination on wether it does or not. Ill offer abit of my opinion, and leave it up to you guys.

I think aliens exist, and that one reason we cant pick them up, is that it takes time for anything to reach earth. lookingito space now, we are only seeing things as they were when thelight from them started towards us.

So for all that we now,we might've missed a few civilizatios rise and fall.

the last one is for any UFO or alien cult freaks out there.

and the god one is there for those who think god exists

Yeh. No way, in a universe the size of ours, would there only be one planet that is supporting life.

Theres something called the Fermis Paradox that states that,since we have had no discernable evidence in any way, of alien civilizatios, dead or alive, hat this is proof we are alone.

In a universe that is supposed to be infinante? With unlimited numbers of galaxies? Like a Snowballs chance in hell were alone.

And besides, maybe the cloud of stellar dust and balls of ice that suround our solar system make it hard to communicate outside our solar system

Alien life is a question of probability. And probability states that if every star in the universe has as little as one planet per star, and even if that planet has no moon what so ever, there will pretty much be a guarentee that there will be an almost exact replica of earth out there.

Even so, we're not considering the possibility of silicon based life forms. Life as we view it is in a very limited sense; we believe that Life needs water, and that life must have Carbon molecules in it. However, we ignore the fact that life could function using completely different molecules to accomplish the same feats that we do with water and carbon. The chemical process used to create energy requires carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen in order to function. Once it's completed, it returns carbon dioxide, dihydrogen oxide, and heat. It also creates materials for the cells, and gives off energy required to do anything in the body.

There's nothing to say that life couldn't use liquid Methane and various other substances to create the exact same results.

Naah, that's a different matter. We haven't met them yet, and probably won't in our lifetime. Be cool if we did, though. Assuming they didn't kill us somehow.

Why do people always assume that aliens are more advanced than us?

Chances are they either more devolved than us or subsentient.

I'm not saying all aliens are likely to be more advanced, but at least some of them will be.
