I dont think the big bang has anything to do with religon. And the idea of someone getting pregnant without having sex kinda looses me.

In Isaac Asimov's biography, he relates the folowwing story.

In a Bible Museum, he and his friends saw a Jewish bible published in Spain before the expulsion of the Jews. The Bible was open to the seventh chapter of Isaiah, and it was all in Spanish except for one word in Hebrew which stood out like a sore thumb.

Asimov was asked why that was, and he gave the following explaination.

"That's the verse that, in the King James Bible, goes 'behold a virgin shall concieve and bear a sone.' The only trouble is that the Hebrew word is 'almah', which does not mean 'virgin' but 'young woman.' If the Jewish publishers were to translate the word correctly, they would seem to be denying the divinity of Jesus and they would be in serious trouble with the Inquisition. Atheism is a religion. It just has been successfully sold as an anti-religion by propaganda.

Atheism has many aspects of a religion.

it has theology: There is no God.
It has a code of ethics: do what you please
it has dogmas: The lack of an existence of God is pretty non-negotiable.
it has faith: when miracles happen, they deny God still - when people are healed at certain places, they may not know how it happened but they claim it was not God (with absolute faith)
it has "scriptures" like the writings of Ayn Rand, Nietsche.

Big bang says that there was nothing. Then an explosion happened. Then there were things. Basically, the big bang is the creator of the universe - God. They claim that something was created from nothing.

If ID can be classified as religious teaching because it posits a designor, then Big bang can be classified as religious teaching since it posits the explosion as the creator.

We worship an explosion? What? The big bang is pretty much a reasonable, scientific theory accepted by many. We can't say it's true, but it's a good guess.

We don't have to teach atheism. We can just avoid the subject all together. Science class teaches the theories of science.

What public schools do about religion doesn't matter. They should be neutral toward religion, not what they do now which is basically exclude all religions except one: atheism)

The big bang theory posits that the explosion is the creator. Whether you worship him or not is irrelevant. The big bang cannot be scientifically replicated in a laboratory and is largely based on faith.

ID, likewise is a reasonable scientific theory, accepted by many as well. But using the same criteria, it is teaching religion for it is positing a designer who people think is God.

If a posited designer must be God, so must be the posited creator (explosion).

Only because you were told this. I've already shown atheism has characteristics of a religion, none of which you refuted.

We don't have to teach atheism. Science class teaches the theories of science.

But religion is taught. The big bang theory is a good example. Science class doesn't always teach theories of science, they also spout opinions about the creation of the universe. Natural science cannot explain the supernatural but they sure like to act as if they can!

Anyway, over here we do have religion class in school. Student who attend the class will require to sit for exam at the end of the semester.
Luckyly student who are not in the offer religion class can opt for a different subject.

I have seen some of their exam paper, it takes more than that to answer.
Think of it as "scripture" study. You will be ask; who did what at where during when and why.

Luck me I took Moral and Social Study over this.

No, they believe in the religion of communism. Two things it teaches is that there is no God and that christianity is false so therefore it should be suppressed. That's their theology.

Only if you're going to a fundamentalist school or other Christian school which takes the interpretation of scripture of a certain person as true.
