sex... only b/c it is shorter though, so i don't have to write or read as much... laziness rules!
 to me it really doesn't matter....

Gender makes things easier. People's mind wanders when the word "sex" comes up.

"Gender" is what sex you think/feel/believe you are according to the politically correct police.
"Sex" is what sex you are - male/female And how many people put as their answer for Sex as "YES"? XD

I'd just ask : "hey! <insert name here>! Boy or girl?", and get slapped, punched, kicked and bitten with the metal teeth and the hurting and shoving, mmhey...

to answer your question DE, hermaphrodite is their classification, I think o_O
and that latest question... it'd be a novel way of populating the race, I suppose, but eventually all the women would die out and then humanity would dwindle. Who wants to live in a world without the other gender? I certainly don't.
