Well, I look at it like this...

Action: Negima
Plot/Story: Negima
Comedy: Ken lives up to his humor in both so it's a tie for me
Romance: Love Hina
Drama: Love Hina (unless you consider episode 24 of Negima. )

So both are good in their own ways, but for me, Negima fills in more than Love Hina, BUT that's only for the manga. For anime, I would most likely watch Love Hina becuase Negima felt cut-off for me.

You can blame Xebec for the lowsy anime (Still my all-time favorite anime ONLY because it is Negima.) But I bet that the new season will be better then the Love Hina anime.
