You know, this is so hard. I really like Motoko, but Around the end of the series I really started to like Mutsumi. I decided I like Mitsumi a bit better then Motoko but she is a very close Second. I love how Tougha and devoted Motoko is to her Technique. I also like Mitsumi for how ditzy she can be.

I've watched plenty of Scooby Doo episodes, and I have to disagree with that...

Not that those sound clips seem to be very good quality (I know Shinobu's voice sounds much better than that in that scene in the actual episode. For that matter, what's with that wierd echo-y effect with Haruka? I know that isn't there either.)

Well, I dont think that they should just go by regional accent...
I think they should get someone that SOUNDS like her!
I mean.. The Kansai accent is just awesome sounding, and the redneck american (Yeah, I know Kitsune's isnt exactly REDNECK, but close enough... XD) accent doesnt do it the justice. XD

I didnt see how Kei sounded like Shaggy much...
But a bunch of people seemed to think so, so thats the description I use.

As for Haruka's Echo... I dun know. I got them like that. XD
And Shinobu... I cant remember her voice... Not all that bad, I thought... Oh well.
The original Japanese Seiyuu just do so much better... =P

Anyway, Muts is cool... I didnt like her so much in the beginning, but near the end of the Manga, she was awesome. (And looked cool with those little round glasses. I guess getting into Toudai really DOES do something good to you! ^_^)
But, I just liked Motoko from the first time I saw her...
And she just got better as the series went on...
And not just for her devotion for her techniques...
I really felt sorry for her when she started falling for Kei...
Kei should have been with her... But no.. He was destined to be with Naru... And they make such a good couple, Naru and Kei... But Motoko... -_-;;;

Well... in a manga there has to be more
than one perfect female characters for
readers to see as their alter ego or
something and Love hina is no exception...
I bet it took ages for the storyline board
to prepair all the characters and bagrounds.

I like Naru an all but. HOW CAN NO ONE LIKE SHINOBU, she is a total sweetheart, she's nice and a great cook. Plus when she grows up in the Manga she is really beautiful, (gotta love the hair).

I cant really decided between Motoko chan and Haruka san. I mean both of them are so extreamly cool, but with diffrent characteristic.

Motoko is cool and uninterested most of the time, but inside she is very shy and insecure.
Haruka is cool because she has seen it all and is just jaded with thing youngster do, in another word, she is mature and experinced.

But in the end, I vote for Motoko simply because I dont like smokers.
