Atm i use Windows XP but i want to change it to mac or linux someday.. its just most programs I use only works with windows... a reasonn cuz i dont use vista is that its a copy of mac and also it got a lot of bugs that makes the system unsafe... a grp of hackers made a homesite where they will post one way to hack vista each day...(lucky it all was a bad joke.... (BUT ITS POSIBLE TO HACK VISTA EASY) to scare microsoft)

I just don't like windows full stop, there methods of starting where to say the least underhanded and sneaky, watch 'pirates of silicon valley' to see what I mean, I think you can find it on Google videos. And your right there are way too many bugs with vista and it is just a rip-off of mac, another person described it as being XP with bling that takes up an extra 5gb of HDD space, just ridicules.

i use Vista its pretty good but it has quite a few problems and isnt compatible with alot of software or device drivers but i still think its the best operating system iv had so far

well, there's still time for Vista to grow into its environment. Eventually stuff'll become available and compatible soon enough
 But the problems are very worrying... they always are, every time a new Windows version gets released

My old printer works just fine though. However Vista does not support it. I do not want to have to upgrade my printer/scanner/fax just because my OS does not support it now. Does not seem slated to be supported in the future either. It is an older printer. About like trying to refurbish a '79 beat up pickup truck. But if the truck gets you back and forth to work, why buy another.
