I cannot see clearly at all if I don't wear glasses, so I wear them from can to can't.

Things are exceptionally blurry for me without giglamps, and I would hazard a guess that (unless people were blind or medically visually impaired in some way) that I am probably one of the poorest-sighted members here

I should be wearing 'em. But, I've never been one to follow Doctor's Orders too closely. Years of distrust. And I am medically visually impaired. Been that way since before brith, if the quacks have it right. Toxoplasmosis scarring of the retinas in both eyes.... maiking the left eye all but useless, and the right one nearsighted.

And yet despite my contrarian habits, people seem to get along with me .

Some advice, never look directly at the sun or stare at the TV when it's on and only 1-2 feet away from you

I love my glasses, they're apart of me now wearing them for so many years. I don't have the option to take them off since 1) I'm practically blind 2) I could only see a blur of someone in 4 feet away from me. I tried contacts but come on they scare the crapola out of me. Especially when my eye doctor was trying to convince me they'd be sooo much better and I can't even look at him since I'm staring at a poster of all the bad things that can happen with your contacts. =.=

Not to add fuel to the fire, but there was a ruckus about defective contact lens cleaner awhile back.....

Needless to say, one unlucky person got an eye infection out of it. O_o;;

How s/he recovered from it is beyond my knowledge.

I am the only member of my family that does not require glasses.

Coincidentally, I am also the only member in my family who spends at least 3 hours in front of the computer everyday.

yes, without my glasses, i cant see more than blurs further than 2 feet in front of my nose.

I seriously question if your physically capable of 'looking into the sun' when it's only 1-2 feet on. And the sun is always on or it's never lit again.

I myself wear glasses, not strong, but since I was 12 if I remember correctly. That's atleast 6 years now. As a result most people I know joke hwo the f/ck I am when they see me without glasses on. (though that occurs rarely and I do need my glasses.)
