An RP for Sakurazaki

[Sakurazaki]

"I see." Sakurazaki flicked her eyes up toward him. "Have you had contact with this person? We shouldn't wait here too long, more of those things might show up at any moment." She went back to fixing the tattered edge of her cloak, it still was pure white for the most part, and she didn't mind having to use part of it as a bandage. "Judging by how much the road is pitted, not many people travel here. I think I can see why they would not. A spear would kill the moment they got into range." But if the Yami have gotten this far of a hold, it would be hard to drive them back.

Spencer looked back at Sakurazaki, and then up at the tree tops. "Judging by what time of day it is she should be passing by any chance. And with these..." He said, pulling a few dried stalks of suger cane out of his bag," She will be more than happy to have us as guests. But I fear we are a little outnumbered. If the Yami is useing necromancy we are sure to have a few more guests when the sun sets." He said, walking along the road, glanceing up at the horizion every now and then. "It would seem they are watching us anyway....." He said more to himself than to her. Then he turned back around and adressed her once more, waiting for her to catch up again. "I know that the Nalos House was practing a few magic tricks of its own, as was House Spencer. Perhaps, if we are to work togather for now we may need to know what power the other person is packing. What do you say? Oh, we are almost there." He said, pointing to a string of smoke about a mile away.

Sakurazaki nodded, she still kept her hand steady on her saber. "Perhaps I will tell you more about the angelic language later." The young mercenary swept her eyes up to the string of smoke. It seemed to be looming closer. "Are you entirely sure that this person will not try to kill us? I have traveled for quite some time now, and sometimes people don't treat drifters all that well, especially those who bear arms."

For the first time Spencer turned and smiled. "I have know this person for years, and if there is one person who you can trust it is her. Ahh, and we are here." He said, as they topped a hill and saw a large house cart parked by the side of the road. A very bulky two headed ox was standing beside, his harness off, drinking water from a portabal trough. The smoke they saw had been coming from inside the caravan, up from a small smoke stack built right in. There was a string of laundry hung out over a canvas canopy, and oddly enough there were only clothes there that would fit a small child. But the side of the wagon-house was the most eye catching. There was a sign painted on the side which read: " SHIRLEY THE MEDIUM" in bold green letters.
Sakurazaki seemed as if she was about to ask of the sign but as if on cue, or perhaps something more, the door flew open and out steped a sight to behold. Shirley was no human, but a small kitsune-dog mix. It had been rumored that her parents were kitsune and fire wolf, respectivly, but no one knew for sure. She had a green tint to her skin, and long black hair for her height, which was no more than three feet tall. she had very large hoop ear-rings and alot of jewlery hanging from her neck and fingers.
She adressed the two with a sort of gyspe accent. "Kage, darrrrling, so good to see you. Whoo ist this woman hmmm? Kinda lanky for a wife, but whoo am I to judge. I am only the person who saved your skin countless time ist all, what do I care....." She said, really fast. For Spencer to understand her it must have taken months......
Spencer replyed laughing. " No no Shirley, she is but a friend. You of all people know I have no real chance to....anyway, how are you?"
Shirley replyed almost the same as she first adressd them.
"Ahh same old. But vhat about you? Did you meet ze scarcrow people, they have been giving me trouble lately, not useally so fiesty.....Vhatever, did you bring me cane?"
she asked, and waited untill Spencer handed over the dried cane from his bag. She then took it and went into the wagon for a moment leaving Spencer and Sakurazaki alone for a minute.

Sakurazaki looked at Spencer. "Are you sure she is .........." She struggled to find a word to convey her thoughts. "Sane?" Although Rei wondered what in the world that Shirley used the cane for. She looked more closely at the wagon. It was a strange apparatus indeed. Makes me wonder what kind of friends that Lord Spencer has....

Spencer laughed a bit. "Well, she IS a hundred year old gyspie with a suger-cane addiction. How sane can you expect her to be? Anyway, this person is a world traveling medium, and when she gets done doing whatever in there, we can ask, or you can ask, her questions concerning the world's current position." He said, and then Shirley steped out of the wagon, with one of the cane stalks hanging from her mouth like a cigar.
Normally I wait till sundown to start ze dinner, but I saw you vas coming through my tea leaves. Please zit down, I azzure you there will be no creatures to bother us for the rest of ze evening, I put out pig oil. She said, not even really hinting as to what "pig oil" was. Spencer had left Sakurazaki standing and went over to sit down on a tree stump by the wagon's edge. He was currently filling a pipe with some sort of tobacco.
Shirley went over to a wooden stool, obviously made for her judging by the height of it, and sat down. She motioned for Sakurazaki to sit before her on a mat that semed to be woven of some woden fiber.

Sakurazaki sat down on the offered mat. "Thank you Shirley-san. Your hospitality is appreciated."

Shirley looked up at the girl, even though Sakurazaki was sitting on the ground, Shirley was still a head below her. "Tiz Nothing darling, I help out ol shadow all of ze time anyway. But it would seem that you also have helped him no? She said, pointing to her blood covered cloth.

Sakurazaki blinked. "Only a little I'm afraid. Lord Spencer-san...he saved me from a spear. It would be dishonorable not to pay in kind."

"Honor? And what iz honor to you dear? Ze way I zee it, only ze people who have honor need honor. Kage, he has never had honor. Ever since he was small, living alone in a stick made lean-to by a muddy river, he has never looked out for honor. You may think zhat because he is a "nobel lord" that he has honor, or pride, or even royal blood. But he does not darrling. He iz one of ze most lonely, humble men to walk zhis earth since....well long ago. For him to step in ze way of a spear, is like breathing to him." She said, pointing to Spencer when she said the last part, whom was still sitting on the stump, but this time it looked as if had fallen to sleep with pipe in hand. Then she looked back at Sakurazaki. " I have never zeen him so calm in the presence of another, execpt myself. And from the feeling I get form you I sense that you have not known him but of almost a half day, no? By what do you expect to gain of his company? Why did he bring you here? I am sure you know deep down why....."

Sakurazaki frowned in thought. "I see." She had not known too much about the Lord that's true. But it was also true to say that Lord Spencer did not know much about her either. And even so he tried to save me. She looked at the man with a pipe in his hand. "You are right though. Usually I"d be wary of such people like him. But...for some reason I'm at ease as well."

Shirley smiled, showing a mouth of green teeth. Yep, she was a gyspie. "I zee. Then perhaps you vill have no trouble makeing it through this trial. I know what you seek anyway, but perhaps you need to be more confied in other people. It iz not always your burden to bear dear. But i fear you must flee now, and our conversation has been cut short. It would seem zhat the pig oil has not worked so well. But HE is ok now, and if you notice he is compleatly well. Let him fight for you just this once, and learn of his true nature. Just watch for a moment eh?" She said, and then looked back at Spencer. "UP YOU! WE HAVE ENEMYS TO FIGHT AND YOU SLEEP?" She yelled at him, and he then fell off the stump at the joilt.

Spencer fell off of the stump, and then his senses kicked in, telling him of the enemys close at hand. He jumped up, stoed his pipe, and ran up to Sakurazaki. "I hope you enjoyed Shirley's company, but we should go. Thanks for everything again, and take care of yourself!" He said to Sakuraaki, and then to shirley. And with that he ran out of the camp, with Sazarazaki's arm in his hand, and they kept running untill they were a good ways away from the camp.

Sakurazaki felt herself being led away from the camp. Her eyes flicked over her shoulder to Shirley. "What about Shirley? She will get away right?" Confine in other people...I just don't know if I'm ready for that yet.

Spencer kept running, sure to follow his old master's orders. "Oh yeah, she is much better off than we are. But I think she knows that no good will come of us just sitting around." He said, and then slowed to a fast walk. "I think it would be best to find another route. The forest to our right is called the Darkwood, and the feilds to our left will lead to nothing but more feilds untill we get to the river Stine. I think it would be best to head into the forest and then make our way west to try and get to the main planes where the fortress Bane would be located." He said, and then they heard the noise. Thousands of mini explosions could be heard, and then loud shrill wistles. The night sky light up with lights from back at the camp, red,green,blue, leoow, and all other colors. Many loud bangs could be heard, and then all was quite.
"It would seem that the enemy found out that Shirley is also a master bomb builder. She perfected the Chinese gunpowder after all. But it would seem that we are also about to face a challange. It is my turn to fight now...."
He said, pointing to where some shapes could be seen coming out the corn feild to their left. There were three scarecrows with pitchforks in their hands, and two very large wolves who were standing on their hind legs. "Darn, now they have envoked animal magic...." He said, and watched as the five foes came closer. He started to prepare himself.

(How long do want to let this RP go on? Because the way i have it played out we could go on for months. Which I would not mind...)

Sakurazaki nodded. "I see I will let you handle this fight." She watched as he started to prepare himself with magic. Perhaps now I can see what his fighting style is as well as his magic style.
