Sheena Fujibayashi to be exact, Tales of symphonia, Tales of symphina: Kngihts of Ratatosk/Dawn of the New World, Tales of Symphonia: The animation.

First two are games:, GC and Wii, the last is a 4 episode OVA, that covers part of the story in a different fashion

Regarding the challenge, are there any specific rules that we have to follow, or are those decided at the beginning of each match?

Rules should jsut be that of standard RPing. No godmodding, as good of a description of events taking place, have your enemy actually counter something you can't jsut go OMGAWD I SLICED OFF YOUR RIGHT ARM! A more appropriate statement would be Bob aimed to slice Tom's right arm. In this fashion you allow your enemy to perform a counter.

Well I meant more along the lines of weapons allowed, techniques allowed, skills allowed, that sort of thing.

For instance, can I use any sort of magic abilities, and if so to what extent? Can I summon a meteor to decimate the field or am I restricted to simply throwing a fireball and the occasional teleport?

That's more along the lines of what I was asking.

Skills and what not should be allowed of any sort as long as it does not make you godly, but things like a super DBZ fag blast is obviously a no no. I eman throwing a meteor would be considered a DBZ fag blast move. It would practically destroy the whole world.

FOr the most part it's CQC, but rules are just the bare basics, you can add to it for your match if you want.

as for magical power limits, it's sparring not all out so nothing ridiculous unless you have casting time that allows at least one post from you opponent. You also have to be stationary when casting high level spells

Yeah, I figured not the uber game winning epic DBZ godmodding move, but I wasn't aware if we were allowed to use magic at all.

Don't worry, I'll watch all the matches. If either party has a problem, simply contact me or get around to talking to me and I'll provide a warning of godhood and if this continues we can simply cut the rp there and I'll lock the thread ^^

And yes, for those wondering, Paradox IS still here. I haven't been around due to World of Warcraft, but Dox is alive, and ready at any point. I will be checking back here if anyone calls me out, and I'll make an OC for the occasion. Making a character takes me about 2-3 days if I rush job it, so be prepared for that. If I use one of my old OC's, most likely it'll be too powerful for anyone except maybe Bal or GF.

We'll find some folks. Maybe they just haven't looked over the invitation. I really expected some of the hardcore guys to come and have a look, especially with three big contenders and a few up and coming ones all putting it on the line.
