Ryo Misaki Vs. Nakakami Seno -MB Title Match Pt. 1-

Ryo looked as if he had had too much of a rough time to go on any further.

Suddenly, a voice cut through the battlefield -

DUEL END!!!

In the silence immediately after the voice rang out, time seemed to stop for Ryo, who had lost the match. Indeed, time did stand still as he was still in midair, due to Seno's ground attack. Then, Ryo fell downwards, and collided with the grass below. His fall was partly broken by the soft soil and the thick grass, but looked dazed anyway.

"The duel goes to Seno!!" Z-Udgey declared.

The crowd then let loose a huge cheer for none other than Seno, who had come and given Ryo a defeat - and when Ryo had not been given a defeat in what seemed as years....

Ryo had gotten over the initial shock of losing the match, but was still a good sport. He stood up and applauded his worthy opponent. Seeing this, the crowd cheered even more, out of respect for the two skilled swordsmen.

"The next match will be between Keiranto and N-11/ Ordo, in Pt. II of the Motoko Brigade Title matches! See all of you there!!"

........... a few days later..........

Ryo stood at the referee's vantage point, commanding Z-Udgey's view of the stadium. He felt a nice, light breeze brush his face, toying with his long hair.

"I wonder what would have happened if I had taken the duel more seriously...." he wonders.

Deciding to act on this random thought, Ryo unsheathes a blade that contained the powers of time. He slashed at thin air, and produced a warp hole of sorts.

Ryo stepped in, and transports back to that one instant in time..... before he lost the match.....

(Seno - let's just wait for Ryo to revive. )

As if cued by some ethereal victory fanfare, the swordsman passed his ancestral katana to his left hand, drew his hitherto-unused wakizashi with his right hand, and flung the weapon point-first into the ground so that the hilt pointed back toward him, then lifted his right foot and balanced it on the blade's hilt.

He then took his katana back in his right hand and sliced the weapon out to his side, before bringing it back, drawing the blade over the opening of its sheath, and then sliding it back home. "It will be a long time before my sword can rest."
