In the blackness of space existed a cold the like Man would not experience, and there be but the grace of God to protect Man from its final embrace. To that extent, it is unknown why his opponent had chosen this desolate field of drifting chunks of ice and metals framed only by the cold reflection of a nearby lunar satellite as the place to do battle, but true to form, he rarely missed a chance to scout out new challenges.

Within the very bowels of a shadowed behemoth of incomprehensible energy, he was seated cross-legged - enjoying the silence of space until his opponent would arrive. He was clad in sable silks, cheongsam extending over smoke-grey hakama... fitting for his varied past of which he was all too aware of. The young man wore open-toed tabi and simple socks, black and white offset as much as his hair, which started black at the top of his head and continued down - slowly lightening to the white tips of long tresses, set in two thick braids running down his back that barely hid Higashi and Uchuu.

Indeed, this peaceful man was Tohou Fuhai, the successor of a legacy long past, and one of the most vaunted killers of his age... waiting ever so calmly for his opponent to arrive. Wishing to meet in fashion, he did not tap into the impressive sensor array his machine possessed, merely did he observe in silence.

Sitting quietly with his eyes closed, the Gundam pilot wondered in his mind if this was the right thing to do. Rumors had spread across the sector of an unknown mobile suit being spotted, and of course it was up to he and the rest of the crew of the Eternal to check and see if these rumors where true. Opening his eyes, he glanced quickly at the monitor which beeped before coming on. "Where here." The Capitan reported as she looked at him, "Are you alright?"

"I'm okay, just make sure to stay away in case of a battle." he replied with a small smile as he put on his helmet and let his suit fill with oxygen. "Roger." The Capitan replied as she smiled at him, "Watch yourself out there." Returning the smile, the pilot nodded as the monitor shut off and his hands flew across the keyboard in-front of him. "System booting...Systems green," He confirmed in the comm channel as the mechanical clamps released his Gundam.

Stepping onto the Launch pad, the Comm Officer's voice echoed from the ships loud speakers. "X20A STRIKE FREEDOM. PLEASE LAUNCH." As the Liniear Catapult went green with word 'Launch', the pilot stared out at the endless space before him. "Kira Yamato, Freedom. Launching!" he confirmed as the Strike Freedom was suddenly launched forward and into space. Spinning around from the force of the launch, he extended the 'wings' on his pack as his boosters came on.

Spinning around one more time, Kira pushed the thrusters forward and sped off into space.
