[SB] Shinobu Brigade ideas - brainstorming

OK, let's come up with some ideas for the Shinobu Brigade. Now that I'm leader of it, we need to get it up and active like the HKSS.

So, post your ideas for making the Shinobu Brigade greater than it is now.

The HKSS has at least two buildings for its activity, doesn't it? Is there any lore about the SB headquarters?

I imagine the SB as a somewhat less action-oriented unit than the HKSS, so maybe we don't need a weapons depot in the first place. We don't need any hot springs; our members can always visit the Hinata House in the opening hours to support their business.

Instead, we need a library, we need a movie theatre. We need an office for the administration. A computer center. An archive. An art gallery, a lounge. No, two or more lounges. Rooms where the most active members can work on their projects and have some rest.

Yeah. We should get a large building that can be expanded if need be.

One should be able to visit the SBHQ online and hang one's Photoshop works on the wall. Just a 3D engine and some tinkering...



Well, anyway, let's have a little chit-chat about building the HQ. In a separate thread, maybe?

Kataja76: From what I've written in the RP thread: We have two HQ.

HKSS HQ Hinata-Hot Springs, near the Hinata-sou. Has administration mainly, and barracks for most agents.

HKSS HQ Sendai - Has shooting range, dojo, swimming pool, and other training stuff. Iruga-san's laboratory is in this location.

alright guys, let's come up with more ideas. I don't want the SB to become inactive.

Hmmm. First of all BobCat, we need to come up with some official attire for the SB. Seeing as the HKSS is the elite, MIB, stealthy spec-ops branch, we should make the SB the "ground-pounders" and "grunts" of the defenders of Shinobu who are on the frontlines in the constant war to protect Shinobu from perverts, terrorists, criminals, etc. (the Shinobu Brigade sounds like a "ground-pounder" name after all).

I think the attire should be based off the more military-suited, futuristic, yet rag-tag United States Colonial Marines from Aliens, befitting the less elite, but more "ground pounding" SB style (we could put in the official SB badge and the ranks of SB members in the shoulderpads)


Oh, and we need some weaponry for defending Shinobu, seeing as the HKSS has big Battlesuits and Gundams(did you get my request for the inclusion of Titan Mechs in the Raven Team??) and MIB weaponry. If you go to the SHINOBU BRIGADE ACADEMY, go to the forum name of HKSS, go to the Laboratory 203 section, click on "Does the Weapon Idea Have to be Original??" and I'll have statistics for an "Omni-Gauss Rifle". We can use that weapon as the Brigade standard-issue weapon. I'll be sure to release stats for more weapons later on for the SB to use. Meanwhile, we should use all the less elegant big guns like miniguns, flamethrowers, assault rifles, rocket launchers, sniper rifles, etc.

This should be the SB version of a more portable, less elegant, yet more practical mech.
The Exosuit

Equipped with two miniguns & rocket launcher in one gun arm, and a laser & big huge flamethrower in the other.

Seeing as the HKSS has a high-tech orbital base called Raven's Ark, the SB also needs a high-tech command base:

Behold! A nuke and railgun equipped, hyperspace capable command cruiser complete with dropships and quarters for troops in those long-distance journeys. I call it the (Shinobu Brigade Space Ship) SBSS Shinobu's Shield.


We also need ways to get around.
Like this space-atmosphere capable dropship equipped with a minigun and numerous missile pods, with cargo space for 10 SB troopers, and VTOL takeoff capability


And this APC with room for 10 troops and is equipped with heavy minigun cannons.


I don't think we need any sleek black, high-tech MIB cars or advanced Gundams because that's for the more elite & covert HKSS. The SB needs to have the big, conventional military stuff to show we're always on the frontlines in the war against Shinobu's tormentors.

However, if you seen the MIB, the HKSS dress like them. Except that: 1) rank insignia for officers is on their shoulders and 2) rank insignia for enlisted are on their arms.

Kick @$$!! I already have a suggestion for a project. You know how the HKSS has that police chase project where we post police chase videos to serve as training videos for chasing the bad guys? Well I think you should make a project in the SB where we post some live combat war videos as training guides for the Shinobu Brigade in their wars against Shinobu's enemies.

Oh, I almost forgot. We need some tanks, artillery, and heavier Assault APCs for the Shinobu Brigade.

The unbeatable M1 Abrams for use in those BIG battles


The BMP Infantry Fighting Vehicle for rapid troop transport and heavy support. It also comes equipped with firing ports so the infantry troops inside can fire their rifles at the enemy.


For artillery, I chose the M109 self propelled artillery as a more mobile and reliable weapon


I also chose the BM-21 multiple rocket launcher as an artillery unit because of it's ability to saturate an area with hundreds of unguided rockets. It's also more reliable than a US-made MLRS.


We also need the A-10 aircraft and Mil-24 Hind gunships as close air-support units to supplement the dropship's firepower.

Actually, that sounds more like a HKSS project.

The Shinobu Brigade is more of her fan club, while the HKSS are her bodyguards.

The SB and HKSS are not the same!

I haven't standardized a SB uniform. However, HKSS dress like the MIB for the most part (Raven team have their mechs)
