History Quiz
I don't know if this should be posted in the "Serious Stuff Subforum" but this is a quiz and it's for fun so I post it here.
In this thread you bring up questions about war, famous persons, nations, inventions and so on. Since this is a wide subject (from the birth of the human being to last week) you must post clear questions (so the person who reads it understands).
We post ONLY history questions (no entertainmet like movies or games). Don't use google or wiki when you answer a question, it's more exciting if we really try to use our brains. Clues should be given by the person who asked the question if no one can answer it.
I start with a easy question:
What's the english/russian abbreviation (shortened name) for the Soviet Union?

Yes, but you didn't say the russian abbreviation. I need it too.
And Peanut butter isn't history, it's food history.

An attack on the Tokyo Metro System. They sprayed the gas into the subway cars during rushour. Don't quite remember how many died, but it really shook Japan. I think the leader of the cult got capital punishment...

In history class, do your teacher talk about the history of peanut butter? No, like I said in the OP, war, famous persons, inventions (important inventions like the wheel, gunpowder, spaceships, NOT peanut butter ), historical events and so on.
Correct, wolf. The answer was USSR and CCCP.
