Chatting away with Bal earlier this morning, we came across the idea that people could do with some points wasting ideas wager their points on sports tournaments

We're not encouraging gambling with anything you can afford to lose, don't worry. AnimeB's not responsible for the deterioration of yoof today (aside from promoting pantsu and nosebleeds by chucking Akamatsu-ness at everyone )

Start off, Euro 2008 footie championships. Starts getting really interesting past the group stages, but we can bet on the results and correct scores and stuff of any game that comes along

Plus, selo and I can bet avys on Champions League games and stand a chance of winning some vBux too

We've got our resident bookie, Animeb Caster, running the show and dishing the dosh to the winners Got some details to work out, of course, but want your thoughts on this, folks.

By setting up a bookie account, purely in the same vein as Kitsune, we can load it up with points and dish 'em out when people win their wagers That way I'm not taken to the cleaner's if we have a lot of winners

The Rules are simple aye'!

You may bet on which team wins during a bout. You earn a portion of the pot depending on how many others also bet on the same team

BUT! If you can predict the FINAL score, you get a slight increase in your earnings!!

If you can predict both, you get the entire pot!!

The bets are on, and the games are intense! Any Takers?

thinking of starting whenever we've got a coherent system. We don't appear to have one at the moment, because we have Bal at the controls.

I was thinking bets of up to 2000 points. Choose the correct winning team, double your stake, choose the correct score, treble your stake Something like that

so like, if you try and guess the score (and guess correctly who wins), but you miss, you win nothing ?

since we have me and thee in, we could effectively start with tomorrow's games, I suppose

so long as the games are active (and not past, obviously), people cna take a punt whenever they like
