It is. Why do you think the French hold it so important eh? WWI a man stated what was the point of wars if we are going to jsut get our people killed. IF we really want to show who is teh best, then we should do it with physical competition.

I find it funny that as the opening ceromonies start, Georgia and Russia start squabbling a piece of land that's worth exactly 2 cents. *rolls eyes*

I really am ticked about gymnastics. The Chinese have for SURE botched the ages of the girls.



She's disputed to be 14, but even so, she still looks WAAAY younger than that.

I know! I'm a swimmer, so I take it pretty seriously.
It's amazing, not only is he getting gold in everything, but he's also breaking all the world records.

All the gymnysts look so young...one girl looks like she's about 10.

I know really, how many 16 year olds do you know that are loosing their baby teeth? Stuff like this makes the Federation Internationale de Gymnastique look uncredible and makes the sport a joke. And shame on the IOC for saying that the age discrepenciy should be dealth with with the FIG. I say take a look at those girls teeth and tell me with a straight face that they're of age, mr. IOC

Didn't Phelps bite the dust(water particles i guess in this case) of that Australian and Netherlands guy on the last olympics? Ian Thorpe and Van Hoogenbank(or something crazy like that), he wouldnt win all of them if those guys were around . I kinda dislike the Phelps guy, seems too arrogant
