If i recall correctly, players that outside of the field don't count. Like in corner kicks, most of the times the guys stay outside just to avoid it
 Another good game today! I was expecting a boring match between spain and russia. I think spain isnt all that strong, more like russia isnt very good  Still though, fun game

I guess, Hollands group is definitely tougher than portugals, so its Holland > Portugal (again, judging their football)

Portugal beat Holland in 2004! (not very relevant, but I just felt like bringing that up.

they can only meet in the final, cos they're in separate halves of the draw, aint they?
 I have to admit, the Dutch are playing the best football going into the tournament's second week. The Portuguese aren't far behind, but I think for them to progress Ronaldo will have to be on top form every game outside of the group stages. Dutch have a tendency to sometimes self-destruct. I hope they don't. On the evidence of many games, this tournament deserves to see Turkey versus Romania in the final... >< But in parts, you can't help but hope to see the Netherlands vs Portugal come the 29th.

agree with ya 100%, Hina. A Portugal-Holland final'd be great (and nerve-wrecking) but besides Ronaldo, our team's got a lot of new revelations this year, like Pepe (no pun to the animeb member intended
) who's playing surprisingly well for his first time in the Portuguese team. Also, to my great dismay (I hate Spain! ) Sweden lost.

Pepe scored a brilliant goal against the Turks, but again, Ronaldo was involved quite intricately in the build-up
He is a big part of the team, so forgive me if I can't quite see beyond him for your team's chances. Actually, if you go to penalties, Ricardo in goal will win those more often than not  I don't doubt Portugal-Holland would be nerve-wracking for ye that still seems by far the tastiest possible fixture

Germany's doing what they always do - not great/entertaining football but they do win matches.

Portuguese din't have anything to play for and looked ordinary without their stars. The Germans will be there or thereabouts, agreed, they always are. Never found them to play footie that's very watchable...
