![]() But seriously, I agree Pool's really screwed up this year... (might add an "again" there... ) And now even Benitez seems a little careful He's sure he'll win some trophies with LFC in the future, though! I guess ManU will win the PL again... They sure showed Arsenal who's the boss in the FA cup O.OJust as a (probably unnecessary) reminder: 4 Champions League matches tonight! Liverpool - Inter, Olympiakos - Chelsea, Roma - Real Madrid and Schalke 04 - FC Porto. kick off 19:45 GMT.

HURRA!!! Once again Liverpool shows why I love them so much
Beat those silly Italians (with one Italian player on their starting team) 2-0, and it could've been more OK, Materazzi got the red card after 30 min, but LFC was the better team out there all the time! And two wonderful goals just in time! I'll update the rest of the games in the Champions League thread. We'll have four wonderful matches tomorrow as well! Arsenal - AC Milan, Celtic - Barcelona, Fenerbahce - Sevilla and Lyon - Manchester United!

![]() And Materazzi was so begging for those yellow cards! at least the second one, he would've gotten away, but just couldn't keep his mouth shut.... luckily And please don't say Liverpool wasn't in charge of the first 30 minutes of the match! Internazinale nearly got the ball on LFC's half!!! We'll see in the return match as well, even though I believe Pool'll play defensive as hell and try to advance by aggregate score ![]()

You were on top before the card, but that's often the way Inter go about things. They sit back - not through any tactic of their own, simply because they're pretty complacent sometimes - and attack when the opposition are knackered from running at their brick wall defence.

That's true. Inter's defence is some of the most impressive out there. Them holding for 85 minutes against LFC is kind of proof of that... It was no room to do anything between midfield and defence, and they picked up nearly every ball :s And that was with one man less

A lot has happened since I last posted here To start off, Everton has finally started loosing some matches to give LFC a small gap... But with ManU - LFC today it could be only 2 points separating them if Liverpool loose... (and they tend to loose against the devils... ) ManU also finally climbed past Arsenal, and I still think they'll win PL again... But at least we've made it through to the next stage in Champions league Poor Inter got another red card... Nice goal by Torres, though! That guy's gold for Liverpool! And together with Gerrard he's pretty unstoppable ![]()

yeah, I saw it
kind of expected it, but it's still a drag... And Macherano got a red card for being an idiot yelling at the referee... stupid-stupid-stupid... Guess it can't be helped... Now the Liverpool - Everton match next week will be exceedingly exciting On the other hand, Barcelona gained 3 point on Real Madrid in the Primera today Real lost to Valencia while Barca beat Valladolid ^_^

4 points, I think Barcelona with 58 and Real Madrid with 62. 9 matches left including Real - Barcelona, so if Real just fails once or twice Barca will be there And I haven't heard of that. but I hope to God it's just false talk... Even though I like Mourinho better after he got fir |
