hinarei is a name known to all

if it weren't for Platini and the failure of the laughably-called Big Four to win the Cup this year you'd have no problems Or would you? I always get stuck on how the multitude of ways Everton can fail to get into Europe actually work...

Guess it's a reason why he was hired as manager in Chelsea Just too bad Abramovitsj had to interfere...

I agree Everton's done fairly well this year, but of course - 4th = Champions League = lots of monies and honour

pf, blaming the referee, learn to take a loss (or a draw, I suppose), mate But I do of course agree the Merseyside derby should be settled fair, without some referee screwing up...

Ah, jolly good match today! Liverpool 1-0 Everton And Torres did it again! That guy's so worth every quid to Atletico!

Now, please let me hear your excuses! Was it the pitch? Referee? Anything else? I didn't actually see the match myself, but from what I read it was a fair victory...

On another note, the Norwegian Tippeliga started today! So now we'll have 7 months of mediocre football in the far north to look forward to! I truly miss actually going to a football match these days, so I'll be there supporting my precious Lyn next Sunday and onwards!

Excuses? Not this time. We're just tired, and we'll really struggle to keep up a push for 5th place on current form, never mind 4th.

Injury list is long, squad list is short. Same old story.

It was a crap game, too. You just scored, and then neither of us looked like we fancied it after that.

Admire, eh? Well, when I was little and starting to get into football, Everton were so crap that it would be hard to look up to any of their players. And I wouldn't have given a second thought to players from other teams.

I suppose I could say Dixie Dean, although he's another age entirely and a bit hard to relate to >_<

Now I've never had any ambition on the football field myself, and therefore I don't have like a "hero" type. I do have some footballers I admire and like, among them Steven Gerrard and Paul Scholes (yeah, I know where he plays...), both great players and loyal to their clubs. Me likes that As I am, after all, Norwegian (and therefore I love Liverpool, as dear Donkey has pointed out) Solskjær would also be a natural favourite.
