I guess, but its most that can't be bothered to at least try...

At college one of the networks im on does have firefox, and the other just has IE, but since I downloaded Opera to my memory stick I use that..

sometime they do. Workplaces in particular. Most intranet sites I've seen have specific functions that lock them to the use of a particular browser, most usually IE.

Ironically though, I don't get any of those fancy plug-ins or skins...

should try out firefox 3 pepe. Ive read that it uses less memory and that it boots up faster than previous iterations and faster than ie too

ah, well in that case, who knows?
I've been using the beta version just to see how good it is. it looks a lot nicer first off, and it IS a bit clearer and faster, well sometimes ¬_¬. only thing that bugs me is that some addons wont work

Well the addons only count for Version 2 right now... some havent been made for 3

Firefox is really good! Before, I used Opera, but I switched to Firefox and I'm glad I did. Only problem is that it will sometimes randomly delete all my bookmarks..
