So yeah, after I got tired of Internet Ex. freezing up during an anime download, I voted to use firefox from on. I had to have it a while ago to run a firefox program to put videos on my ipod touch, (anime, if you must know) and so I already had it installed. The only thing I dont like is the inability to start new tabs with the click of a button, and the fav. bookmarks are harder to use with firefox. BUT! it is alot better for downloading things. Believe it or not, it made downloading actually faster. I would have never thought. Anyway, any other users here use firefox?

there is an extension to add a new tab button, google it.
also theres the ctrl+t shortcut, thats all i use

I use Firefox too, after someone told me to use it. I stopped using IE a long time ago. Now I'm really happy with FF, the fact that it will restore your tabs if your computer decides to shutdown on you is nice. I used to like the fact that FF had tabs, but IE caught up some time ago. Though the comptuers at school don't have tabs on IE which is a pain.

Spencer the command for opening new tabs on FF is ctrl+t

Now I unconciously use the command al the time, even on the school cmoputers, which resultsi in a beeping noise... D;

Well, for me being a supporter of Apple it was hard for me to use anything but IE. when it comes to actual speed of surfing the web, IE is somewhat better. But what makes FF good is the add-ons. That might make it easier for me to use it. And as for being late, its not that I did not know about it or whatnot, its that I had created my own version of IE, which was way before its time, but if I cant get my Pirate Mojo on and download some fansubs, even my advanced program was not worth it.

Firefox is the browser of choice for most around here, judging by the useragent view it's a cracker of a browser, but doesn't have a ton of features. You can pick what you want to add from the extensions list though, so that's okay.

As far as I know, an extension isn't needed for a new tab button, you can just add one in normally. Customize yourtoolbar and drag in the New Tab button, that's what I've done

I started using FF a long time ago, as for the bookmarks, I use google bookmarks. Also since I only need a new tab when I'm trying to find something and still need my current tab, I just ticked the option that will display the search results in a new tab (it's the google toolbar of course).

For downloading I currently use the FlashGot addon, whenever I can, which seems to be compatible with my BitComet. Donwloading at the max of your internet connection is so cool (to bad my max is 192kb/s).. But when I was at school a while back, I downloaded something from Gamershell.com..... 11mb/s 0.o now that's internet speed!

(Not all downloads support download accelerators, so obviously I don't use it there)

I use FF if I'm just surfing the internet. If I'm in IRC or something else, I'll use Opera. It really though depends on my mood. I like both, IE sucks man. Can't get rid of it either.
