Adblock Plus takes out those annoying picture ads, great for avoiding nasty software and speeding up page load time

Now to give BBcode a go o_O

Ive noticed that Adblock decreases firefox's performance considerably. I remember at one point i got tired of its slowness, decided to get rid of extensions one by one, adblock was the first, and that solved the slowness

AdBlock is very handy, but doesn't handle everything. Not too shabby

If you can handle the performance hit, then why not use it?

I like a speedy browser . Another awesome extension i like is Web Developer toolbar, it doesnt decrease performance either

lol, actually, they did. They tried to get the most downloads in just 24 hours.. It started Tuesday 19:00, only they had to delay it with an hour because the servers couldn't handle all those downloads. After just 13 and a little hours they had over 5 million downloads already (not counting the ones before the down time). The Netherlands had contributed with about 18000 downloads at that time .

I, as soon as I realised that it was out, downloaded it and installed it. I got a major warning that some add-ons wouldn't work, but everything still works (I think)
