So... I got a new phone today...
Ish a BlackBerry Curve 8310.

It's ABSOLUTELY AMAZING~!

I've had it for only about 6 hours now... so I still have much to learn about it...
That said, does anyone else have a BlackBerry, or know much about it?

I'm wanting good links for tips, tricks, hacks, programs, themes, etc...
Anything I can get my hands on is great. =P
...but I dun wanna pay.

Anyone got any info or discussion?

I've used one at school in the lab, dont have much flight time on it yet. I have noticed one thing with it, when receiving e-mail and if your on a separate phone, you will hear pulses of the data stream on the phone, kinda a EMP cross talk thing. I'm glad school is paying for it in the lab, I couldnt afford the device/service myself.

I dun need Wallpaper or Ringtone resources, though...
I can clip my own imgs and mp3s for that. (Besides... The majority of those sites wont have ANYTHING Anime/Game/Japanese, or worthwhile. )

As for that data pulse sound... That happens with all phones that have GRPS.
If it's sitting by a normal phone or speakers or a radio (even in the car), you'll hear that familiar sound right before getting a text message, phone call, or any other kind of data transmission. =P

Oh? Your school pays for one for you? Amazing...
I managed to get mine for only $50, which is pretty awesome... But I need to look into getting an unlimited data account for it.

Understood, what surprised me is the lack of shielding that allows you to hear the transmission.

It's not a matter of 'shielding' or anything...
All phones do it. I've not found a phone yet that doesn't. My friend's Nokia, my old Razr and Treo... They all will seem to produce that data signal whenever near a speaker source.
I think it has something to do with the way phones handle incoming connections from the network. O_o;;;

Anyway, I'll check out that other site when I have time.

Nope, nothings changed but the equipment, Arii.

Anyway, the amazing thing is that this is being posted from my phone. I got a Data Plan today... And the BlackBerry works on forums!

Its strange and cumbersome... But it works. So, yeah... I'm pretty stoked about this.
