Quote:
It's got a meh hard drive though, 80gigs isn't that big anymore on laptops, but still, this is very cool. I will make a treck to the Mac store in Northridge after this goes on sale to take a look for myself (because I am in the market for a mac laptop) ![]()

Damn Apple and their sexy ass, but non upgradable hardware~!
![]() Too bad I still despise MacOS. >.< 80 gig isnt too bad though... It's what I have on mine, and it usually stays around half full. Of course, I keep MOST stuff on my 120 gig external drive. ^__^ But no CD/DVD drive? That'd drive me insane. <__<;;; Still... it IS sexy. =P

With all the external storage solutions that exists today, i don't see an 80gig drive as a problem really, but without an optic drive? how the hell are you suppose to install anything? can't even watch a simple dvd either :/
I'm planning on selling my ibook in the weeks ahead.. i hardly use it anymore and i need money to travel with my gf.. so i won't be part of the macOs community anymore.. lol

But... That lack of CD is troublesome. I'd imagine, though the 'Air' part means that it's supposed to be networked most of the time... So, installing from a 'base' computer over the network to the MacAir is feasable. ...but JUST having that without another computer on the network could prove troublesome. Quote:
Perhaps a bit inconvenient, though. >_> Quote:
The thin bit is nice... But I want a nice full comfy keyboard and giant monitor! I'm not so weak, so I dont mind lugging something around that weighs close to 10 pounds, at most. So long as it gives me the functionality and convenience I wish. =P Quote:
![]() I'm less than happy with ANY Apple. T__T The only Apple piece I'll use is an iPod. I have to use a Mac in my Commercial Art class in school... It drives me insane~! I like things I can tweak... But with it's one mouse button, and all too 'easy to use' interface, I hate it. ![]() ...but I must say... Regardless of my issues with the OS and un-upgradable hardware (with frames that tightly woven, there's NO room for expansion! >.<)... Apple continues to make SEXY damned Hardware. O___<

13 inch? I got myself a 17 inch whidescreen, comfy keyboard (it's so comfy that I can't even type normally on normal keyboards, the keys are to freakin high 0.o) Core 2 Dual some bad ass graphical card.. The laptop itself isn't that heavy, but all the extra's.. you really start to feel you're carrying a lot on your shoulders when you have and some giant laptop and cables and mouse and an external hd with 2 hd's in it (total of 1TB) and the power supply stuff.. It does get heavy sometimes, but then again, I can just sit down and start playing Oblivion, Supreme Commander or STALKER whenever I want. Watch the anime I just downloaded or see an old one. Maybe I'll read that manga again or perhaps I'll continue on this one. I could start planning my route for when I'm on vacation or sketch my house or something. Guess I finally complete my siggy or continue on my FanFic chapter. I'm willing to haul something with me for that. The only reason why I use Windows is because I have to for my games, MAC offers much more fun software when it comes to professional software for things amatures would use. And I totally love the tweak options. You can edit everything you want (or almost) Windows is too damm solid.

It's Mac's way of saying they have a bigger dick than PCs. my problem would be how easy it could break, you know, because it is so light. What if it falls, will it shatter into a million peices. :S
