as for topic creationsometimes it worksand some times it doesn't. You don't have to make a topic if you are a member of any brigade, just take the Naru Brigade for instance, they need new topics and most of the members have no idea as to what to do.

Copying topics from other brigades i beleive is ok. Since a lot of the topics i have created are from other brigades.

For example the Naru Punch topic in the naru brigade was a copy of the Suck KIck topic from ASR

Also taking ideas from other websites is a good idea.
To take this step even further you can visit a totaly unrelated forum and take their idea and convert it to Anime.

FACT: no one hates you if your new topic fails, a large percentage of topics i have made fail. Just to name a few

As for making a banner... You'll have to tweak with and learn Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, Fireworks, or some other image program like that. =Þ
