Thread: [Prequel] Nodoka ~Young~

Okay, now i was thinking about it and we've never seen Nodoka in her younger years nor as an adult. Actually, we've never seen her past age 13/14 in the 6 years since Negima's debut.
Yes i understand that Negima isn't focussing on Romance (as of late) and that the amount of girls/main characters in Negima pretty much makes it impossible for Akamatsu to grant one or several girls their own individual "flashback" chapters.

Which is a shame really, because Nodoka might be the most complex character in Negima, no in Akamatsu's history. Well if you exclude the supernatural ofcourse
Think about it, before Negi's arrival, Nodoka had quite a bit of Androphobia, had zero courage and pretty much only friends with the library gang.
Afterwards, her attitude towards men loosened up, her courage slowly rised and she developed herself into one of the more reliable character, even more if you are paying attention, her development might be the most amazing, second to Negi himself.

Okay i've been blabbering for too long now, my point is, i'm trying to gather some feedback for my future Poll, hence the "[prequel]" in the title.
Which of the following would be more like a Young Nodoka?
1. Extremely Shy to the point of ignoring others, An even more extreme case of Androphobia (which settled down little by little over time), few (if not none) friends.
2. Shy but playful, very upbeat yet serious in class, loves fairytalebooks, but developed a small case of Androphobia (which grew over time) due to some kind of trauma.

I myself think 2. is more logical

Before taking a stance, I would like to ask you guys this further question.

Does anyone remember the old Negima spoof entitled "Yue/Nodoka Bitchslap"? I am happy to have a copy (and a backup) on my hard disks. In that little story fragment, Yue is presented as the former introvert and Nodoka as the big sister type of their shared past.

The text includes the catchphrase "ur opinion is wrong", so I must assume it was actually written by Zhang the Legend himself, but I would like to have that confirmed.

Anyway, yeah i guess we do think alike, noticed that when i met him some while ago.
Although he might be a bit more perverted and i might be a bit more into cuteness

Anyway, think logically, Negima + Ur Opinion is Wrong = Zhang

Rats, I really tried to track down the message where he posted the spoof pages. I am afraid the whole thread has been deleted at some point.

Yeah most likely, uhm yeah let's just say i think Zhang is on par with Miroku.

anyway, i wanted to add the reason why i think option 2 is more likely to resemble Nodoka's past. now i copied this of MSN when talking to Selo, so excuse me for any grammar mistakes and such

As it isn't logical for someone who has been introverted and extremely androphobic for all her life to suddenly change into what she is now.
So my guess is, she has always been outgoing and couragious, but some kind of traumatizing accident happened a couple of years before Negima's timeline

As it usually doesn't cause androphobia but more a fear towards humanity itself.
