Thats pretty much the order i liked them in reading it this time through/watching it but it changes all the time.

Well, you must admit it has been a while since this was last done on LH.

Maybe I should give it a shot, and only after that find my older rankings to see how much I have changed. Hanging out with people like you might have gotten Kanako closer to number one, for instance.

Well, its alright, we have the OLDER threads, but, they're too old , this type of topics should be a good indication to see if love hina still pulls people, etc.

Kaolla's sister's name is Amalla, Kei's friends are Haitani (taller) and Shirai (the short round hobbit with glasses), and the girls who hang out with Motoko (seen in the anime) are Sachiyo, Emi and Kikuko

Lists. This has been done to death on several occasions, but its worth revisiting (if in a slightly different format) every now and then

10. Naru (Only because she is impossible to ignore)

That's a bit of a topsy-turvy top ten, Mandrake Back in that day that'd never have passed and you'd have been interrogated by lots of the folk here as to why some "unpopular" characters were near the top of your list. Not in this day and age, however!

Why'd you spoil it with Naru though? :/ Despite what Yon says, she is demonstrably a worse character than Kitsune. Can't think why anyone'd put her in their top ten

naru does not belong on my list

I''l just keep it to top 3 since I usually don't go beyond 3 characters that I like the most in a series.

1. Motoko, her character changed the most and it was really funny to see this change.
2. Kitsune, I don't know why but she really grew on me throughout the series.
3. Mutsumi, She's an enjoyable character.

runner up would be Shinobu I guess.

Well, that's really all I care to list as I don't recall all the other names/don't really have a good impression of the girls.

Oh boy, I guess there is some explaining that I need to do to my list...

Kanako needs no explanation since she is the love/hate character in the series.

I liked Kitsune alot because she was rather mature behind her drunkard surface. Her laid back attitude is rather nice to see in a cast that is very emotional.

Haruka gets the 3rd spot for similar reasons as Kitsune.

Mutsumi is also very laid back (Get the pattern here?) and showed some signs of maturity as she helped Naru to become more open to Keitaro. She is also the source of many of the genuine funny moments in the series.

Shinobu got the 5th slot due to her great character development.

The top 5 are the female characters I actually liked.

6th to 8th get their spot since while they were rather dull to in my opinion, they were at least not annoyingly intrusive to me.

Motoko gets 9th because she was annoying but she got better later on due to some character development.

Naru is such a persistent character that she will be included in every list but she will always be in the bottom of every favorite list.

As for Suu.... Oh boy... She is not in the list because she reminds me of hyper active children and I don't like hyper active children. Also, she is not as prominent as Naru

Then again, you think Kitsune is a bad character.
