Metal Gear Operation Roleplay F013 Briefing

Click the picture to stream the character theme for each char, mine is return of the foxhounder
Welcome to my unit soldiers. This is FOXHOUND's San Hieronymo guest house. I'm the instructor for this unit, Grey Fox.
It's my duty to instruct those of you who have played Metal gear but, don't fully understand the events of the MSX games, or those who have played Metal Gear but haven't role-played much before, and those who have role-played for a long time but want more information about what their code name will be, this is for you. I'm going to make sure all of you are equipped with the information you need, so that you don't have to procure it on site.
    now sound off!
    I said sound off!
oh sorry, I forgot this is THREAD communication you'll have to sound off later.

I'm going to be providing you with information via codec about the operation, area, persons involved and here, yourselves to. To contact me at any time via codec use the
    Spoiler
to transmit your message using burst transmission, and I'll reply to you using the
    Spoiler
as well. remember if you see the spoiler button, or hear the codec tone, press the spoiler to open the codec. The spoiler codec system communicates via vibration of the bones within your inner ear, no-one but you and whoever you're speaking to will be able to hear it. I'll be your initial contact and the only one saved to your codec memory under frequency 140.41, but as you meet and interact with other soldiers and NPC's you can collect each others CODEC frequencies and form networks, allowing you to talk to others on the fly, and regardless of position. Though you'll have to sign in at node stations to download the map data for that area, the codec is free for use at any any time, and cannot be jammed like the map either.

Now it's time that you you heard more about the mission. After the briefing is complete and you all have sounded off your code-names, by calling out the name you want to use, you will be taken to the mission site via HYPERLINK, or you can move from here via the BANNER at the top of this thread infiltrate the Creative Corner, then you must find the entrance HYPERLINK to the mission from there, I'll mark it on your thread view system with 5 star rating, it should appear to be some underlined light grey text reading: "Metal Gear Operation Roleplay N14". Once at the mission site, You'll start at your assigned sneak points, but I'll leave judging the best CoA from there to you.

What's that? oh you appreciate the information about the format, but want more information about your objectives? That's okay.
This is a time of discord for FOXHOUND. The cold war is over, nuclear threat is gone, but peace is not embraced by all. Oil supplies, the pillar that supports the global economy grow scarce, and military force increases in small groups. Since the fall of outer heaven, Roy Campbell, rank: Chicken Fox has taken over command of your unit, and new recruits are flowing in, I haven't gone over the files for all of you, so some of you may have to give me your bio. However since Solid Snake left the unit after operation intrude N13, events surrounding the aftermath of Outer Heaven have been drawing suspicion from us. Numerous small privatized military companies have been moving to secure certain assets from outer heaven, such as floor plan data and rejected metal gear blueprints, one rouge Mozambique arms manufacturer has started mass producing new type "Metal Gear G" units. they lack nuclear capabilities but possess the direct attack power of an MG-TX55 unit, in a smaller frame capable of operating solo to wipe out units, and only needing one pilot each. Their full name is Metal Gear Gustav, the designs were laid down by Big Boss, Myself and Dr Pettrovich Madnar, and they were equipped with a Vulcan gun and a six-missile pod. however they, must of been customized since their designs were stolen so for the moment we only know this much. They've been selling to numerous smaller groups across the world, and we've identified bases in Brazil, Mongolia, Nepal and Mozambique. We've decided to take action and find out more about who's behind these companies. My soldiers intuition tells me though that there's a lot more to this than we know.

I'll be going to the production facility in Mozambique and taking you to the military compound based there, they employ a wide variety of mercenaries and Ex-special forces units, selling the metal gear G units to various small countries to prolong small feuds between armed groups and rebel forces. Now then let me tell you about the team for this mission. if you're new, give me your bio when you sound off, the unit can handle itself, but I need to know about you before you join us.

    Sneaking Unit
Theme - Return of the Foxhounder
I'll be leading the unit in Mozambique before we move to the other targets, and discover new ones. I've been a soldier all my life, and am the only man to achieve the rank of FOX in FOXHOUND. I became a member of FOXHOUND when the units father Big Boss took me in after he was deployed to take out a soviet missile base in South America. I'm well versed in Big Boss form CQC, and handling SMG's, Pistol and Assault Rifles. Though I'm still skilled in the use of Sniper Rifles, shotguns and heavy weapons, I'm certain there are those amongst you more skilled than I.

Theme - Red Sun. If you use ocelot, this is YOUR character theme, also this isn't really accurate, because he Ocelot is about 38, this is a pic of him aged 52, picture this, but not grey haired
Reolver Ocelot is an old friend of mine from FOXHOUND. He left the unit prior to outer heaven and has proven himself a good friend, telling me certain secrets about certain people. He's a great scout and spy, and is also supremely skilled with handguns, one time disposing of an entire KGB unit with a single handgun clip. He's EX-GRU and served as a major at Grozny Grad and leader of his own mercenary group, the ocelot unit, I contacted him myself asking for his help here, and with his help we have our suspicions as to who may be controlled the operation, but he's agreed to help us infiltrate the factory himself.

Theme - Chasing the Green Beret
Master miller is Foxhounds survival instructor and advisor hand chosen by Campbell and a god man. He's asked to come personally as we'll be moving through a variety of environments and his input will be supremely helpful. He's skilled with most mainstream weapons but his strength's are in CQC, handguns and Medicine and tech.

    Theme - Returning to Dust
Major Ivan Raidenovitch Raikov first joined our unit on this very peninsula in the Western Wilderness before Campbell's unit had to rescue Big Boss. Raikov had lost his position due to his abusive ways against soldiers, which Big Boss states allowed him to disable many soldiers in Grozny Grad while disguised as Raikov without attracting attention and was imprisoned, to be released by a man named Jonathan who later died during a mission with Big boss. Raikov is skilled in Both handgun use and a master of Shotgun use, able to accurately fire far beyond the normal range of a shotgun, and possesses moderate skill in all weapons. He also uses the same Close quarters combat form as solid snake, making use of the Punch-Punch-Spin Kick combo.

    Support Team
    Advance Immediately
Big Boss and Campbell officially set up FOXHOUND one year after I joined them during the san hieronymo incident. Roy Campbell served as a tactician and executive officer under the codename of "Chicken Fox".
Many years later, after Big Boss was defeated at Outer Heaven by FOXHOUND operative Solid Snake, and it was discovered that Big Boss was their leader, Campbell was appointed as commander of FOXHOUND and began revising FOXHOUND's methods with his personal touch. He discarded the codename system and adopted the use of high-tech equipment such as radars and spy satellites. As the mission controller he'll be to here to remind you of your mission and occasionally be argumentative. His Frequency is 140.85

    Theme - Farewell
Holly White is an American freelance journalist. The daughter of a French mother and a British father, Holly has worked as both a journalist and as an undercover spy for the CIA. She has been awarded with a Pulitzer Prize for her report on Afghanistan and an Emmy for her documentary on KTV, Unknown Bloodstream. Her fame has gained various positions, including working as an exclusive model for Depeche Vogue magazine at one point. However, she also uses her status to do undercover work for the CIA. She'll be providing codec support and has already been through most of these facilities officially and unofficially to collect map data for us. call her on frequency 140.15

    Theme - The Front Line
Diane is a member of the Resistance movement at Outer Heaven. She was formerly a vocalist of Thin Wall, a positive punk band and uses her feminity for intelligence activities. Having gone on several intelligence missions in Outer Heaven, she has accumulated knowledge about the mercenaries and armaments of Outer Heaven. call her any info about the soldiers in their security forces or the weapons the enemy use. call her on frequency 120.33

    Theme - Exit
Jennifer is a member of the resistance movement at Outer Heaven. She infiltrates the fortress by posing as part of the medical staff to save her older brother, who is taken captive by Dirty Duck. During Operation Intrude N313, Solid Snake learns her frequency from one of the hostages. She provided internal support to Snake, by providing him with the Rocket Launcher used to defeat Bloody Brad cyberoids, as well as unlocking the room containing the Compass. In return, Snake managed to save her brother from Duck. Jennifer will be taking a less active role in this mission acting as a data analyst and also will be your psychological counselor and military advisor. If you want to understand the enemies movements or don't know what to do, try asking her. her frequency is 120.48

Now I'll tell you about some of the equipment available to the mercenaries, since we can't be known as directly involved all weapons and ammunition is procure on site. This is only data collected from the production facility so it may vary between areas and there could be things we don't know about there too.

    Spoiler

Welcome to the unit, Revolver Ocelot.

For those of you wondering why solid snake is not joining us on the operation, I know you've heard of the legendary Foxhounder, however he left after outer heaven, Campbell thinks we should call him out of reirement, but i don't think so, so we don't. The less soldiers in the world, the better.
