    Memorable Gigs

I've had a few ones I remember well, like I went to see a band named Area 15 and they took us home in their van whilst eating pizza, that was fun.

But the best was the Slipknot concert. I was right at the front for all the acts; Children of Bodom, Machine Head and Slipknot. I was about 3 feet away from machine heads lead guitarist Phil Demmel when he fainted on stage and hit every not in his solo on the way down, he got cheered of stage and praised as a god whenever his name was mentioned for the entire night. It was so hot we were physically sending people over the barrier when they fainted, my friend rachell fainted, that was fun.

Halfway through Slipknot, we decided to go to the back due there being no breathing space, wading through the mosh pits was hard work, if it can be called "wading" at all. The concert had to be stopped again because the crowed managed to push the barrier down during Slipknot!

Post some of your eventful gigs.

Nobody goes to concerts here or what??

I saw my musical heroes, Collective Soul, last November. Here is one of the videos I have uploaded from it.

Their music has meant a lot to me for seventeen years now, and in the past ten years they have been my favourite band by far. Their music has gotten me through some really rough times and several of their songs really mean a lot to me, so seeing them live was, simply put, magical. I almost shed man tears, no lie. It's really something special to see your favourite band live, especially when you've been a fan of them since their debut album.

I'll definitely see them again when they're back in my area. Amazing show.
