Thread: Mei Sakura Brigade

I was only saying that it would be "for" the minor characters...the name is something that should be decided on after the subforum is approved. I already brought it up last month to a few high level members, along with my reason for wanting to create the sub-forum, and it seems to have some of their support so if we can just keep, at minimum, the Mei Brigade and Anya/Takane Brigade active for the next week or so we should be able to get the subforum. It was even suggested by one of the members that some of the lesser 3-A students be allowed into the brigade such as Zazie (she was specifically IDed when my reason for the sub-forum was given). Combined we should have the member numbers required to get the sub-forum.

IMO, we should change the whole mixture of the brigades...


It was a good mix before, but now most seem to be inactive... >__>
Perhaps I should post that on the requests or whatever...


But let's get back to Mei, shall we?
One running debate is that Mei is Naru's sister. That could be true, but we have absolutely no proof regarding that.

In fact, we know so little about Mei, except the fact that she is Kawaii.

That, the fact she studied in the U.S. for a while (if I remember right), she has a pactio with Takane, and her item is a broom. Yea...not much is known, but who knows, she may just get left in the dust as the manga continues or she may end up playing a key role revealing something more about her...who knows.

That, and that she has been to the magic world.. And is a rabid fangirl of Negi and Takahata... =_=

What about Mei and Takane? Don't you think that the fact they have a pactio means they've kissed? I wanna see that! ^_^d

Anywho, if you had the chance to, what would you have Ken Akamatsu have happen to Mei? Personally I think it would prove interesting to see her be Class 3-A student #32. (would never happen though)

Either that, or introduce more of Mahora's students... Like Mei's classmates or something...

A Mei Chapter would be a good idea. Maybe we need to find someone on the forum who can draw well to do a fan-manga for her and we could write it. XD

But why should we rely on non-canonical Doujinshi? We could even make fanfics for that...

As far as I've seen no...but then after a few episodes I refused to watch it anymore since it screwed the story up so bad. Come on people, you could have kept to the storyline even if you DID want to go for less fanservice.

But again...no...I didn't see Mei and I've never heard of any sightings of her in Negima!? so I'm not sure if she will ever make an appearance in an anime...except Love Hina if that theory is correct. That sucks, but at least she's in the negima! manga.

You should've known from the beginning that it wasn't going to be canonical...

Id you wanted something straight to the storyline, you should've not even started watching..

I DID expect it to be way off...but non the less I didn't expect for it to be THAT bad...like SD Gundam with the Zaku Zaku Hour the only part of Negima!? worth watching is the little skits after the show...especially the Bakaranger ones. XD

Well... That's your opinion... In my opinion, the only thing worth watching in that anime is the cuter version of Konoka...

Still better than the first by a looooong shot!



BTW: I like Gundam SD!
