Anyone else than me who checked out the Lexicon Negimarium at the end of volume 25? Jack Rakan's "Great Dimensional Smash (just-named)" was actually more thought out than one would think.
Vol. 29 came out recently. In the States this is now done by Kodansha US. As opposed to Del Rey.
I still favor fan translations. They get the greater feel. Deeper words.
The kiss kiss carnival and 'Maru's pactio were as epic as I remembered. The backstory with Negi's mother and father also was good. Rakan is still as awesome as ever.

Kodansha US is handling things now. Seems that the same group is translating for Kodansha as was translating for Del Rey though.
Kodansha is the Japanese publishing house anyway. So the change does not bother me. The Vols. even look the same except for Kodansha on them instead of Del Rey.
