Thread: Caught in the act

Ha yeah, read the story earlier today.

Don't know where that pic is from, but i did see it once on Sankaku. As for me, no I haven't been caught, but then again, I look at such things on rarely rare occasions

came across it yesterday in the news. Which is amusing as this happened in my part of the world on one of the TV stations I can get.

My folks know I look at that stuff on occasion. So long as I minimize the browser window when they walk in to talk to me, they don't care.

Lol, that guy is the worst kind of busted... I have been caught red handed, one time my boss saw me looking at hentai at work but I managed to pass it off as a pop-up. Can't believe he fell for that old line...

apparently, the banker featured in the story kept his job. I assume some sort of dressing down was involved, but not in the way he may have hoped (involving Miranda Kerr, who, according to the article, gave him her support. Again, I choose not to comment further... )

Miroku, I'm sure my folks know I look at that sort of thing too. Its kinda of difficult to hide what comes up on Sankaku when I'm sat between my mum and dad while using the laptop I try my best to hide anything objectionable though.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that hina-tama and miroku both live with their parents when they have a reputation for being old around here.

and I never had to deal with parents and the sticky stuff. Never used the internet at home when I lived with them.

Al though, at the time and in particular the person who caught me, the severity is just as high. Me being caught red handed was the nagging woman who worked in the school library/media center (high school) as a community worker and saw me playing a game full screen. Of course I was quick enough to freeze the game screen and told her it was a screen shot for my research on the progression of game graphics and quickly opened a few screen shots and a blog in the making to proove it to her.

I was legendary there not only for being the only one playing full screen in the media center (as opposed to the computer room where the teachers usually just join in ) but also getting away with it

It's expensive to live where I am, lock. When you're ill, with a (currently) untreatable genetic condition and also Cirrhosis on top of that.... well, it gets downright prohibitive, that damn cost of living. And the economy still in a good slump, as the Brits might say, and you have the recipe for a good old-fashioned fist****, minus the Crisco. >_<

But i do what i can where I can. I do odd jobs off the books to help the family along, and the SSI I get for being Legally Blind helps as well.


So what if others consider me a mouth-breathing CHUD who still lives with his parents? Half of [my detractors] will kill themselves or others off in despair along the way, or add to the collective stupid that's out there by breeding into the human gene pool. La-Dee-****ing-Da.


I'm not surfing for pr0n atm anyway. I'm typing this out, aren't I? I cannot multitask.... it just isn't in my programming. Apple IIe is as high as my RAM goes.

I started browsing questionable stuff relatively late in my life. There were occasions when I took some risks away from home, viewing content from Maximum Hentai or having text-only cybersex, but right now I cannot remember ending up in any major trouble.

Nowadays the biggest risk I take is leaving my GNOME desktop messy and way too many of my browser bookmarks unsorted. Sooner or later it will happen that my parents are visiting me and need my Internet connection at an unexpected moment. Especially some lemon site bookmarks on my browser have, eh, delicate titles.

well, that's allowed, right? I have a rep for being old because, hell, I am old I've just bought a freehold house with my own money as a deposit, so I'm working my way towars moving out, slowly but surely

i was caught once. and only once. my mom made me burn it all.. then i vowed i would never see them die like tat again.

so i keep all that stuff on me at all times in a keychain flashdrive that is password protected and about the size of your pinkie finger. very discreet.

and viewable on the go practically anywhere and completely virus free!

Oh gosh... So glad I live alone and don't have to worry about getting caught.

burning's a horrible punishment But are you sure you're virus-free? Please ensure you at least have two of these drives... don't want to have to build up your collection again should you lose 'em. It'd be too tough on the ol' wrists
