Spoiler
Can I join? I have been in love with Fullmetal Alchemist since the day it came onto Adult Swim for the first time. I know I am kind of late in asking but I'm new to these kind of web sites so it took me a while.
Yes, Maes Hughes is my favorite character from the show, as well as my idol. I practically worship the guy. Not seriously but close. A close second would probably be Scar...I wish I new his name!!! (the one he was born with!) If anyone knows please tell me.
ummmmmmmm......how do I say this. I don't think I ever saw him actually rip any of his shirts. I believe he simply sweeps them off in the usual Armstrong fashion. Now I remeber someone ripping their shirt in "Castle in the Sky" who has the same basic physique as Armstrong, so maybe some of you are thinking of thatguy, but throughout the series I think Armstong loses like maybe 2 shirts if that.
The real mystery is how Ed keeps getting HIS clothes back....Episode 1 Big battle where his right leg pants are in tatters and he tears his own shirt off. Five minutes later he is in full garb again...how does he get so many red jackets?!? That is made of like silk or something right? I mean that is expensive!!! Another time was in the coal mining town when Lira tears his sleeve to shreds. Just fine later in the episode. How many sets of clothes has Ed gone through?!?

sure you can join yea and just some heads up info, FMA 2 will be released in Japan on April 5th this year yea
That is freaking awesome!!! I heard they were coming out with new episodes, but I never figured it would be that soon. I wonder if it is going to be a continualtion of the series or simply a "second" series. Maybe it's an OVA? I usually hate OVAs but if its FMA based, I'm sure I'll love it.Quick question...If it wasn't raining, who would win in afight, Roy or Scar? I mean, that would be a freaking amazing fight scene. Andfor thatmatter, would the fuhrer be able to beat scar? Was Roy'svictory a fluke? I think it was. An amazingly talentful fluke, but a fluke all the same.

I would go for Roy yea
The new series coming out this April will be a continuation with an estimation of 50+ eps yea
Awesome, I was hoping that it would be a sequel!! I wonder if they plan on leaving the rest of the story in our world, or constantly changing between the two worlds? I mean, that would be cool, but wouldn't it get annoying after a while?
I think they would not include the other world as they would have shown Ed back in his own world though as it would follow manga storyline yea
we really need a subforum for this place...^^
we'll get that activity eventually...
i finally saw the new series!! cant wait for ep 2!

Pretty good stuff eh? Apparently the next one is gonna explain how he lost the leg and all that. Hmm, I wonder how long this series will be, im hoping at least it'll be 26+ eps longer than the original (so... uhmm... 78 eps!)
I'm hoping that it will cover the entire manga...
the manga was fcking awesome!
so anyway what can we do to bring up activity in this brigade?

Well I assume that talking about the new series' episode should be good. That or talking about discrepancies between the old show an the new one/ manga, should be fairly interesting
can't really judge off just the first episode...

but they gave Bradley more screen time and armstrong more muscles yea
i didn't notice the muscles thing but yeah..Bradley has more screen time now...but i thought the manga opened up with Lior....
they probably just decided to make a pilot episode for the series that was better than the other.
they introduced Maes, Gracia and Elysia earlier than normal though...
kinda liked Ed and Al being there when she was born.
